In the heart of Huetia's lush jungles and vibrant marine life, a thriving native culture once lived harmoniously with the land and sea.

However, foreign settlers soon arrived, driven by ambition and greed, displacing the island's natives and transforming it into a harsh penal colony where convicts toiled endlessly.

Amidst the despair, Captain Morgan Blackthorn, a legendary pirate captain, emerged from the shadows. With his charisma and daring spirit, he united fellow inmates and orchestrated a daring escape. Seizing a ship, they began waging an unrelenting war against the colonizers. Over time, the pirates emerged victorious, hoisting their Jolly Roger high above Huetia's shores and establishing a smuggler's paradise.

  • Flora and Fauna

    Fauna
For the hunter of mundane, there is plenty of game to be found within Serpent's Grotto. Wild boar and deer are the most common prey you'll find though peccaries and iguanas are local delicacies for the more adventurous palate. Smaller game, such as turkey and guinea fowl, can be found closer to civilization and because of this, make up a good portion of served meals.

Exotic creatures can be found in the depths of the jungle, often identified by their bioluminescence or otherwise magical properties. It makes them popular targets for hunters but navigating the winding jungle to find them is only half the battle. Some examples of these are:

  • Monsters

Huetia is home to many creatures, some docile but others quite dangerous. Each season there seems to be a particular bunch that pesters the isle and one can expect great rewards from bringing them down. However, none of these are easy to bring to heel, it is highly recommended you bring a large crew.

    Current Season

    Harpy Sisters
The harpies of the isle seem to know there is safety in numbers. One particular trio seems to cause the most trouble for those closest to Undertow. The locals will be very happy when they've been dealt with.

    [Stats Coming]

    Giant Constrictor Snake
Roaming the aptly named Serpent's Grotto is a particularly large constrictor snake that is quite territorial. Rumor has it that powerful weapons can be forged from its fangs but gathering those fangs is going to be quite the challenge to even the most experienced group.

    [Stats Coming]

    The Hollow Skull
A ship once thought to be lost, it and its ghostly crew sail in when the waters grow colder. It wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that they tend to want more souls to join their crew. Highly recommended one brings a large crew for this battle.
