Other Mages

  • Work in progress

    Coming soon:
Explaining that all mages are descendants of the extinct mythological beings aka the Angels aaka Ancients. Different Houses of mages barely tolerate each other. Others outright have conflicts with one another. More on how the "human" mages come to be and what happens when the reproduction goes wrong (when two mages try for a child, it will be much like an extreme case of inbreeding. Mages must be with a healthy human to have a pure-blooded mage. There may also be the half-mages who can produce magic, but no traits from their House, they're just humans who can produce just basic magic and do not belong)

Assembly of Mages is a society of mages in the neutral grounds where Elders from all mage Houses would meet up to discuss important things and events. Assembly is ran by the half mages, who are actually children of the failed attempts of the Elder mages to produce a pure-blooded mage. The half-mages hold no bias but are concerned with the well-being of the mage society in the mortal realm, therefore they do care to find neutral grounds with everyone.

The Prophets of (insert this universe's religion name)

House of Mages who are based on the religious prophets who communed with God. Despite their motives, the religious organization deems these people as heretics. Magic and religion do not go hand in hand.

    The Ouroboros

A secretive organization of mages who live forever. They are, however, very old, ancient nearly, in their appearance. Their practices of eternal life are unknown, however they were the most praised court mages due to the fact that they are the only ones who can accurately document the events and history of the world. While they are the most desired court mages for any kingdom, the Ouroboros grow weary of human matters and often live in isolation, uninterested to partake in any events. They may be powerful, with knowledge and the truth being the strongest weapon, however they are spiritually exhausted and need a lot of rest. They are considered to be the "cousins" of the Dragon Sorcerers

Necromancers (think of the better name)

Not real mages, but humans who found ways to practice unholy arts, or what is known as the "Black Magicks" that were made with the intention to spite the religious scriptures and God. No magic that is birthed naturally from their Ancients involves any magic that could bring the dead back to life or defile the natural order of life. Necromancy is dangerous and frowned upon by all mages.

    Will think of more.
