About Us
Hi, this is ogle speaking! I decided to found this group when I realized I've got very few friends who are interested in Pokémon, and even fewer who really care much about anything but the newer games. I personally bounce between gen 2, gen 8, and anything in between, and I'm a huge fan of the Mystery Dungeon games! As such, it's pretty challenging to find people to talk to about it. Personally speaking, a lot of my friends couldn't care less about the series.
So, this group is for anyone in the same boat! Or anyone with tons of friends who love Pokémon, who's interested in talking about it even more! I don't care! Anyone is welcome, so long as you're over 18. This is NOT AN NSFW GROUP. NO NSFW CONTENT WILL BE ALLOWED. It's just a safe space for adult fans of the series!
Additionally, I'm really interested in the idea of playing Pokémon games with other people! I'd love for this group to be a hub for setting up trades, battles, Grand Underground hangouts, PMD rescues, or anything else! Even gen 5 is on the table, considering the fanmade DNS servers! I have found it increasingly difficult to find friends who are willing to play Pokémon together, and with all of the fun online game modes in the series, that's a huge shame!
Even anime fans are welcome! I don't personally know much about the anime (haven't watched it much at all since gen 3), but you're free to discuss it here, too!
At any rate, I hope this community can grow into a little hub for people to discuss, play, and generally enjoy Pokémon together! Hell, you can even seek some Pokémon RP here, if you're so inclined. I'm sure there are plenty of Pokéfans on RPR, so feel free to come and hang out with us!
