I'm obsessed with my (still relatively new) Gameboy SP, so I've been playing a ton of Ruby, FireRed, and PMD Red Rescue Team...lots of red.
I also played some SoulSilver last night for awhile, and I think I'm maybe going to get back into that playthrough after the break I'd been taking. I still have no idea what my endgame team will look like; I feel like Johto is kind of just like that for me. I always have some temporary members in earlier game and cycle them out for a stronger composition later on. Right now my strongest 'mon is a Beedrill...but it has Bug Bite as a result of my waiting to evolve a Weedle until... um... level 15, I think. o_o

I'm not playing a Pokemon game right now but I recently played Legends Arceus. It's the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game in a long time it was so much fun hunting down rare pokemon, it actually felt like the world was alive. The storyline was absolutely batshit, but I'm kind of okay with that... I think a lot of fantasy style games suffer by being over-explained.
I got a raking 10 pokedex, but then my attention waned pretty quickly. I wish they had DLC though, I could go back for more

Legends Arceus is SO GOOD, I'm procrastinating grinding so that I can finally beat the story. I love the changes to the formula, it was a ton of fun to work through. And the ease of upping shiny rates, plus all the Pokemon you can encounter at once, makes shiny hunting really easy. I'd love a DLC, I felt like I wanted at least one more area to explore, but I usually want game worlds to be bigger than they end up being, lol.
I have been trying to nuzlocke Legends Arceus which it's always felt weird for me since there aren't defined routes in it. But I just split it up by catching one Pokemon per area that has a name. It's been fun but strong and agile style really messes with me since I am not use to it. Plus the new status conditions confuse me.

Legends Arceus is so fun, I still need to beat it...eventually... A nuzlocke sounds like a ton of fun, but yeah, I can also see how it seems pretty convoluted. xD
Also, which new status conditions? It's been awhile since I played. I feel like I remember status conditions working a little differently but I don't remember how.
I'm currently sort of playing Violet, I keep playing a little and then taking long breaks; I'm about 30 or 40 hours in. It's fun, and I really like how immersive it can be, I'm just not hurried to finish it.
