Feel free to gather round the fire and talk with one another!
((I know this is an OOC Chat, but I wanted to maximize immersion <3))

Seeing the Campfire lit up and ready to go, Ashley proceeded to take off her quiver and her bow to set them to the side by the log before sitting down, waiting for others to arrive. Until then, she'd sit down and straighten out her dress and her coat before cradling her swollen belly.
(Ahh it's just for people to chat, how they chat I don't mind!)

The sound of crunching leaves approached as Serverus pushed his way through the underbrush, his arms full of a bundle of sticks tied together with several strands of long grass. Pausing for a moment as he spotted his unexpected guest around the fire, Serverus nodded silently before throwing the bundle of sticks next to the fire, lifting one as he took a seat on a hollow log with a short sigh of relief.

"Evening." Severus prodded around the fire to redistribute the ashes, cinders rising into the air, dancing like fireflies in the night. "A pleasant surprise to be sure. What brings you here?"
Not too far away, Ashley could hear the sound of crunching leaves. Though she wasn't alarmed. Animals liked to wander around and everyone had trouble navigating through the undergrowth that filled the area. She then looked up to see a man clad in dark armor carrying a bundle of sticks. Probably firewood. Mmm, he must be the one that made the fire, but left to gather more wood before she arrived. Once he had sat down on a log across from her, she simply smiled, happy to finally have company. "Hello there." She responded. "I'm just resting for the day. Traveling while with child isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world." Ashley frowned. "I'm on my way to Karuzgard. Hoping to enlist into the Order of the Vigilant. I have a gift in Archery, may as well use it, right?" She chuckled, wondering how that talk was going to go over the simple fact that she was pregnant.
With the fire sufficiently stoked, Severus leant forward and added the stick to the fire before casting his eyes over her, and the bump she cradled. Reclining back, he reached up and ran a hand through his beard. "Strange enough for someone to volunteer for the Order, let alone one laden with child." Severus muttered, barely loud enough for her to hear, "Can't be sure how they'll react but guess we will see soon enough."

Dusting the dirt off his hands from gathering the wood, Severus rose to his feet and made his way round the fire towards her. As he approached, the click of chains became audible, a set of manacles wrapped around his ankle. Reaching down, he offered her his hand in greet. "Pleasure to meet you. The names Severus. You're in luck, me and a few others are on our way to Karuzgard as well."
Well, he wasn't completely wrong, it was strange for a pregnant woman to volunteer for the Order. Surely people have volunteered out of their own volition in the past. She may not be able to fight on the front lines, but surely Ashley would have a place in the back alongside those who do well in Ranged Combat. Granted it was still going to be dangerous either way. One bad strike to her stomach and it could easily prove fatal for her unborn child. The man soon introduced himself as Severus, before informing her that he and a few others were also on their way to Kuruzgard. "Ashley. Nice to meet you too, Severus" She responded.
"So tell me Ashley, what made you want to volunteer for the Order, especially in your condition?" Severus asked her, taking his place at the other side of the fire and adjusting his chains to sit more comfortably, "If half of the legends are true, and having seen my own travel companions so far, its far from an ideal place to raise a child."

Serverus glanced his eyes back through the underbrush, the otherside of which Oren and the rest of them were also setting up their camps. Most were either too dangerous or too much of a flight risk, spending their night in the prison cart they travelled in by day. Not that there was anywhere to go. The lords of the Riverlands would catch and execute any attempting it, and should they try to go around through the rivers, their chains would weigh them down.
As the gentle breeze blew against the nearby trees and against her hair, namely her ponytail, Ashley stared into the fire. Subconsciously, she began rubbing her belly as it was starting to feel rather tense. "Wanting to make a world where my Daughter can grow up and live happily. I don't want to sit idly by as our home is being threatened." She responded, giving the belly a somber look. "If I don't, then she won't a world to grow up in. I want to fight whatever's coming...so that she doesn't have to years from now."
Severus watched her cradle her unborn child, the gentle breeze cutting through the trees, rustling leaves as they go. He let out a single chuckle, lowering his head to stare unto the flames, shadows dancing in the dark. "What sort of people would we be if we didnt leave the world a better place?". Gwen always used to say that to him, on the many nights they spent together in Isolos. Thinking of those time, Severus tightened his jaw, the memories leaving a sour taste in his mouth.

"Your sentiment means well, but the Order has defended the mountains for over a millennium, the Dwarves another thousand." Severus added, if the records and stories were to be believed, "It's unlikely it will end in our lifetime.
(Looking forward to developing Nour aka Skin through this!)
(Agreed! I've still to hear back from someone but if they haven't replied by Friday and I'll set up the RP so we can get started! If anyone else is intereted we can find a way to rope them in)

(Friday sounds good!)
((If no one else jumps in on Friday, I guess we'll be a holy trinity!))
Suddenly we've had alot more interest in the idea, I've got like another 3 odd people looking to join! I'll still post up the first post and people can join in as they like!
Hi. I've got my own sea elf race but they've been scrambled into another realm I'm working on with a friend. My friend also has a sea elf race but they're in another realm. Yes, lots of realms and elves, no wonder we have so many portals. LOL

Anyway, hi. *waves*

I like the idea of an enclave of wood elves, tucked away in the forest. :)
Welcome welcome!

If you wanna pick out a spot on the map, you can give me an idea where I can place a marker for the town if needs be. When I have a few, I'll update the map. If you want more trees in a specific place, I can change that too.
Also I'd like to know what division everyone would prefer the group joins. In essence it will be similar to the houses in Harry Potter. Each will just have its own barracks for Shieldbearers and one for Initiates. We could also fight other divisions in training, to see how powerful other Order members are.

You'll find them all in the The Order lore. Just throw it into the chat and I'll choose whatever gets the most votes, or tiebreak if we all go for our own things.
Do these towns represent the origin of our character?

Also, will I need to remove Elanir's magic and hide his character ties?
Hello all.

I have cleric/ doctor I'm dying to try out.
I'm guessing she will need to be more human less undead.

But, can she keep the mask.
The Desert Snakes sounds fitting for Nour, so I am definitely interested in hearing more about them if you have any seeds of ideas already in mind.
