An overweight, white man appears in the center of the stadium, wearing a light microphone headset that amplifies his voice tenfold. His perpetual grin spread from ear to ear.
Nova swirls into existence. “Ew….. announcers, so gross.”
The Announcer's voice seemed to emanate from everywhere all at once. "The players enter the stadium, all riled up and ready to GO!"
Eight shadowy figures appear as he says this, armed to the teeth.

Nova sighs. “This is gonna be a cake walk…”
The Announcer gains a cocky expression. "The crowd looks fired up for the battle of the ages!" He cries, willing legions of shadowy figures into the stands, all screaming wildly. "A cake walk for me, perhaps..." he says to himself, barely audible.
Nova dashes in between the shadowy forms, dispersing them with a touch. “Pathetic.”
(I feel like this is gonna be a tie)

((Same, but how do we make it so?))
The forms immediately jump onto Nova. "Oooooo!" The Announcer exclaimed excitedly. "It's gonna be a dogpile!"
The "fans" screamed even louder than before.
(Possibly a really cliche ending where they blast all their power in one blast at each other and they cancel out before they fall to the ground. Really lame and cliche.)
Nova appears behind Announcer, back handing him into the arena. “Coward.”

The Announcer flies back, knocked back, but relatively unharmed.
"C'mon boys! We can take him out!" He exclaimed with delirious fervor. The shadowy figures suddenly had more substance to them, and they looked oddly nervous.

Nova rains cosmic lightning, death from above and obliterates them.
((Sorry. I forgot about this for a second.))
The Announcer looked a little disheartened, but his smile remained. "Those were my third-best players," he said in mock-sadness.
Suddenly, a huge hand made of pure shadow pushed itself out of the ground, the rest of it still obscured.

Nova blasts cosmic light at it, burning a hole through it.
((Sorry! I'll respond soon. Just not feeling great right now.))
(Oh, understandable. Hope you get better!)
(( I'm not a big fan of auto-hitting, as well as assuming what attacks do.))
The hand immediately knitted the wound shut, and another appeared maybe 10 feet to the left of it, and they both began to push against the ground.

(Oh, sorry. I kinda do that on instinct. I'll try to not do that.)
Nova stares at the hands. "Hmm... they seem to be coming from the shadows on the ground... Perhaps if i get rid of those shadows." She summons an extremely bright ball of like near each hand, hoping to get rid of the shadows that seemed to be generating them.

The shadows disappeared, but the arms didn't. A figure was beginning to rise from the ground. The Announcer made booming laughter.
Nova sighs. “This is irritating.” she warps behind Announcer and karate chops at his neck.
