Suddenly, the shadows around Matt seemed to move, trying to suffocate him.

"Aye, this reminds me of one of those attack patterns from a game. Well then, let's see if my way works out. Hmph!" Matt then held up his sword then did a front-flip into a ball as he slammed his soul eater sword to the ground... Which caused him to bounce up to escape that attack!
"What the hell-?" He said, launching the shadows up at Matt.
"Hm? Uh oh." Matt said, as he just noticed the shadows below him. "Well then, i oughta do somethin' quick."
The darkness grabbed him and tried to crush him.
Matt then suddenly did a whirling blade attack to slice the shadows away from him. Then he casted Seiken on a random target. A holy sword from thin air appears and it just slams on Nick Reyes and Shadelight. "Pierce the heavens!"
Nick melted into the shadows, then readied a null-bomb.
"Keep it together. Concentrate." Matt then self-motivated. His attack power seems to went up!
The shadows attacked one more time.
"Hah!" Matt then did a headstand then starts spinning, doing a dance move, AND slicing the shadows away from him! "How's that for show, aye?"
"You're the worst type of person.." He sighed, dashing at Matt.
"Cool." Matt said, eating one single chip. Seems he's gonna take the hit on that one.
A blade emerged out of his sleeve, slashing at him.
Matt took the hit then his hat fell off. R.I.P Pirate Hat 1991-2022 "That was my favorite hat."
He let out a small laugh, then kept slashing.
