Once more with feeling:
Science-fiction and Paranormal, (and modern and multi-genre) Roleplay Group for writers 21+
Roleplay type, respond length, and content all subject to individual user limitation. This group is organized for FREESTYLE (written fiction) roleplays, using all available communication tools within the Repository.
PLEASE NO OUTLINKS to roleplay elsewhere (chat client, other website), this is a private group for 18+ roleplays you'd like to have organized and/or archived in RPR forum format.
I know the format is currently potato (application passcode: potato). We're working on it.
The Royal 'we'. It's just me. Woohoo!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to join all my characters individually?
A: You can! User registration still enabled, and as of Feb 2023, infinite character access revoked to save the drop-down lists of reply posts (now with 100% more character-to-group sorting~)
Q: CAN I join all my characters individually?
A: We appreciate the population boom, and how dedicated you are to typing the word potato over and over again. (passcode: still potato. thank you for reading all the rule-y bits)
Q: Can I post...?
A: YES. Yes, you can post. Make a thread, answer an open
thread, contact the thread author for planning if that's
what they asked, you are totally allowed.
Q: But can I post specific thing X, Y, Z?
A: Sure. If it's in the wrong forum we can easily move it,
and if it needs a forum we can easily create one.
A: And, if you're shy about content rating, slap that reply
under a collapse header.
A: And, be sure to update the CW / TW tags at the top
of your thread starter, or remind your thread starter to
do so, as content progresses.
Q: What are the formatting templates I should use on
my posts in forum area X, Y, Z?
A: Follow your heart.
Q: Do my character icons have to be X, Y, Z?
A: Just nothing that could trigger epilepsy, is all we ask.
Q: What can I expect for a cleaning or archiving schedule?
A: Except to properly categorize a thread, we will never
move your threads out of the forum they're camped in,
and won't delete or 'archive' your threads elsewhere
unless you ask us to.
A: Inactive threads are only closed if the thread owner
puts it in the title that they are closed, we don't do lockouts
A: Active threads are open to replies so long as they say
so, but if you feel like your LFRP or open thread isn't getting any attention, we ask again that you advertise on the LFRP on the RPR main, because those cast a much wider net. With search tools and everything! Woo!
A: If a thread says it's open, no matter the time stamp,
then it is still open to replies. We look forward to watching an abandoned / inactive thread become a pileup because a title doesn't tell us if it's NOVAC or not.
Q: TF is NOVAC
A: No Vacancy. 1x1 threads are self-explanatory, but group roleplay threads can take a while to recruit for, and take even longer to advance.
A: NOVAC is a shortcut to letting aspirational players know that you have enough people, the thread is not closed but it is not necessarily open to new players.
A: Again, 1x1 roleplays are default NOVAC if they no longer contain [open] in their titles.
Q: BUT I WANTED TO PLAY A THREESOME
A: We apologize for our hetero-normative monogamous
assumption. You can still use [closed] to just mean
no vacancy for new players.
Q: My thread stagnated / fizzled out / is slow or unreplied.
A: That's not a question. Start another thread if you wanna, I'm not ur real parents. Have as many threads as you like, the worst thing that could happen is we look popular.
Q: My Fandom isn't listed on the front page. Can I play
in / for Fandom X, Y, Z?
A: Well yes, and you'll have broader luck finding other
people who love that Fandom in the LFRP RPR main,
which means...
Q: Can I use this forum to host or organize roleplays that I've planned elsewhere?
A: It is encouraged! So long as your writing partners are 21+ and have registered with the Group (otherwise they won't be able to see the thread).
