1. To join Los Velox you are required to be 18 years of age or older, as the contents of this roleplay include heavy implications of language, violence, and other adult themes. Characters under the age of 18 are not allowed without express permission from our staff.

2. In our OOC channels, we ask that you treat others with respect. We will not tolerate negative, obnoxious behavior that makes other members feel uncomfortable.

3. Hate speech, sexism, racism, bullying, and other forms of harassment are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated in the chat.

4. Please do not spam the threads or fellow members of our group.

5. The staff has a final say in all decisions pertaining to characters, roleplays, and players.

6. When posting in IC channels, we ask members to write a minimum of one paragraph for each post, as it can be difficult to continue the story with little to go off of. Details help to paint the story of LV!



1. When creating your character, we prefer that supernatural creatures are aligned with real-world mythology. New or original species are allowed, but it is expected of you, as the player, to ensure that they follow the continuity of all characters in our IC world.

2. Keep in mind that supernatural creatures are forbidden from revealing their true nature to the human population. Inhuman traits or qualities in a character should be hidden by the use of potions, illusions, or other forms of magic in order to maintain the continuity of the story.

3. Professional performers, historical photos, and realistic renders are acceptable face claims.
**In light of recent events, the staff would like to make it known that professional artists/performers, historical photos, and realistic renders are all still acceptable forms of face claims. There are many limitations in 1920s media coverage, especially that which lacks diversity, and some compromises have to be made; to make things more immersive, the use of clothing examples is encouraged, but not enforced. Thank you for understanding!**

4. If you would like your character to have high-ranked authority (faction leaders, city government, etc.), please have it approved by our staff first.

5. We do not allow the following: canon characters, furry/anthro characters, and gods/deities of any kind. Original characters based on canon works are okay, as are immortal characters - but they cannot be entirely invincible. Weaknesses are needed to balance their strengths.

6. God-moding and abuse of power are not allowed at any time in LV, unless it has been expressly discussed with other players of the roleplay. Plotting ahead of battle scenes and the use of dice is encouraged to ensure that there is no abuse of power by your character.

7. While LV cannot be entirely historically accurate, we ask that players still strive for historical accuracy in the way we portray our characters.

8. Here at Los Velox, we practice turn-based posting with scenes involving more than two characters. If you have not posted in an active RP for over 24 hours, your turn may be skipped in order to keep the scene going.

9. If you have not posted in an active RP for more than seven days, a new scene may begin in order to maintain the continuity of the story. Public threads may be opened in order to continue an old scene.
