  • A TOUR OF LOS VELOX

Downtown Velox - The city’s booming hotspot for leisure and entertainment. It’s also a popular site for various supernatural activity, making it one of the more dangerous districts of Los Velox. The Coven Whitlock use this part of the city as their home base, where they can directly oversee that humans and otherworldly creatures do not intermix. If one were to break those rules here, they will be dealt with quickly and quietly. The coven uses the Whitlock Manor as a foundation for their directing duties. The Verte Mill, on the other hand, will host only the supernatural in their speakeasy, granting others a place to reveal their true forms without risking their identities to humans. Their sanctum is lavish, but their prices are costly - be sure to bring the extra coin. The Feather Embrace is buried deep within the district, but those who find their way inside are treated to a night of unfading entertainment. Here, some of the most stunning women of LV put on burlesque shows for guests of all forms - and if they intrigue you well enough, private rooms are available to be rented by the half-hour. Finally, the crowning jewel of the district can be found in the heart of Downtown Velox - the Raphael Hotel. This building holds some of the finest rooms and the highest quality service in all of LV. What’s better, is that the supernatural can be accommodated here with sound-proof rooms and alternate forms of meals, per their request.

Fleuve Plaza - The city’s most vigorous shopping district, directly adjacent to Lake Michigan. With the Los Velox Police Department on the block, not even petty thievery is a cause for worry here. Law enforcement is seen patrolling this area quite frequently. This plaza is home to more than one emergency service, as the Dunord Clinic provides admiral care for the sick and wounded. Creatures that are non-human and do not possess the regeneration abilities of their contemporary can come here for quick-healing remedies and other needed treatments. One can visit Saule Blanc Market for the finest coffee the city has to offer, or simply to take in the lovely scenery. This is a place of picturesque tranquility; very rarely is there a disturbance in this setting of LV. If you’re looking for a bite to eat, the Argent Grill offers a vast selection of fine cuisine and its unrivaled fine dining experience.

The Ombré Harbor - Easily one of the most dangerous districts in the entire city. Some folks prefer this area due to the lack of law enforcement, but the company provided should convince any sound-minded individual to stay clear of these parts. Menacing shadows stretch tall over this part of town. The Pluviuse Inn houses a rundown speakeasy for the swindlers and crooks that frequent these streets. The people are impartial and the liquor is cheap, attracting the wicked like flies and granting easy access to certain shady characters. On the other hand, Septième Street Lounge is open only to the truly sadistic creatures of the night, a place that claims the ability to satiate any monster’s appetite. Certain individuals may stop here to donate a small fixing of their body, but more often than not, the meals served here are brought through undesirable means. But the true terror of the docks lies in The Sanglant - an obscure black market that caters to humans and supernatural alike. They provide more than enough illegal substances, ingredients for potions and spells, dismembered parts for sacrifices, and many other horrifying objects of sale.

Cerulean Falls - A little suburban town that borders the entrance of the city. Spotting a supernatural being here is something of a rare occurrence. Those who do stop by can enjoy a hot meal at Richie’s Diner, a family-owned and operated restaurant, where the food is as honest as the people. The Garden Grove Motel offers shelter for weary travelers and others on the road in need of rest. It’s also an optimal place for meeting with those whom you don’t want to be seen with. Closer to the center of town is where the Clemonte Mansion can be located. This prestigious homestead is where the town’s founding family has taken residence. The blue blood in their veins is as mysterious as the secrets swirling around their name. The town’s unassuming presence is undermined by the Redhood Hideout, a secret lair where a band of humans, who call themselves the Redhoods, gather together and plan the demise of the supernatural that plague their streets. No one has uncovered the intentions of their unthinkable schemes…yet.

The Flétri Woods - A wide scope of forest that borders the northernmost end of the city. These woods are dense, thick, and unwelcoming. Children are often forbidden from playing in these parts of the city. Rumors say that those who step into the forest don’t often make it back out in one piece. Despite this, there are many visitors who may travel through these woods in order to visit their departed loved ones at Fallen Oak Cemetery. Though it isn’t recommended to stay after dark. If some unfortunate soul wanders far enough through the trees, they’ll stumble upon the Ritual Stone that lies in the center of the forest. There is a terribly foreboding energy that surrounds this area, the stone itself is stained by blood, and all falls quiet when one steps before it. The Lune Creek lies close by, but holds a vastly different sense about the area. The veil between the mortal and magical worlds is very thin here, so this part of the woods is lively with mystical energy. Magic and otherworldly beings are much stronger here, under the influence of the creek’s power.
