The Flock, is a moderately sized cell of assassins and spies, all of them trained in different methods of magic, though they have various jobs and roles of their own to fulfill.
Zaharah currently leads this group and while she came into that position instead of setting it up on her own, she has since taken liberties to improve the cell to perform more than just indiscriminate assassinations,
and in the Flock's previous sins, instill their own operatives directly into noble families as agents.
As the group is made up of mostly off-the-grid mages, each member's main task (aside from what Geist commands them to do) is to track the motions of fellow renegade mages primarily in the bustling city-state of Fichester, located in Amn, where there are standing orders from the local governance to enlist all magical persons under the Mages' Guild, severed from all family ties and bonded to the city-state. The Flock connects with said renegades and provide protection for these mages in hiding, allowing them a life outside of permanent civic service.
The Flock also branches out to more renegade work, where their focus is to destabilize nations from both a paramilitary and political standpoint, and instill other ruling powers above their targets for reasons that can be as noble as ending slavery to being as borderline heartless as cutting off loose ends that serve no purpose. For so long as Geist abets by their actions, it can and will be done.
At present, their focus has shifted to attempt to topple the mageocracy of Thay to ends known only to themselves.
