"And you're sure that nothing will interrupt the play?" Lily said.
"Not at all ma'am. We have guards posted at every possible entrance to Port Angela."
It was a few hours before Angela Theatre's production of Hamlet. Lily was excited, but last time there was a theatre production, a necromancer invaded. It took fifteen guards, a bunch of magic, and a lot of screaming to get him out of there.
Lily nodded, and said, "I shall go get Mina. She loves Shakespeare just as much as I do."
Lt. Ska'Tii saluted and ordered around some more guards.
Lily then warped back to her secret hideout, an abandoned thieves den that only her and Mina knew about, and climbed the ladder to the graveyard. She ran all the way to the Castle, and knocked on the door to Mina's Room.

Lily then warped back to her secret hideout, an abandoned thieves den that only her and Mina knew about, and climbed the ladder to the graveyard. She ran all the way to the Castle, and knocked on the door to Mina's Room.
She opened the door with excitement. "Hello Lily! What a beautiful night we have tonight ah?."
Mina's voice boomed through the princess's head. "Yes, it is Mina."
She replied with her soft voice, "Are you busy at all this evening?."
"Me? Busy? Ha! Just cleaning a castle is nothing, really. But no, I'm not! Why do you ask?"
Mina's voice boomed through the princess's head. "Yes, it is Mina."
She replied with her soft voice, "Are you busy at all this evening?."
"Me? Busy? Ha! Just cleaning a castle is nothing, really. But no, I'm not! Why do you ask?"
Lily was a tad confused. She peered over Mina's shoulder and saw empty alcohol bottles. Lily looked at Mina quizzingly and decided to not ask about it. She held her hand and led Mina to a royal carriage, and they had some time to talk before they arrived at Port Angela. Lily, trying to break the ice, asked, "Mina, excited for the show?"
Mina looked away from the window and at Lily, "Oh yes, I enjoy a good show." Her smile was light and glowing, showing a bit of shine to her lips as the moonlight faded again back behind the clouds.
Lily nodded and said, "I also got Gordon to make a special foreign delicacy for the show. It comes from the Western Kingdoms, and is supposedly very good with shows." Lily rested her head on her left palm and stared out the window. She certainly hoped the guards had it covered tonight.
As the carriage came to the gates of the theater, Mina said to Lily one last time, "Lily dear, why did you bring me here?" She looked at Lily with her enormous glasses. Her body sat carelessly.
Lily said, "It's because I know you like Shakespeare. And tonight's show is Hamlet!" Lily and Mina started to get out of the carriage, when Lily got the worst feeling that she was being watched. She looked up at the roof of the Thespian Lounge, and thought she saw a shadow peeking out. She shrugged it off, knowing the guards were on duty and she wasn't. She and Mina took their seats on cushions in the front row, and the first scene started. The delicacy Lily spoke of was passed around in clay bowls, looking like inside-out kernels of corn.
Mina looked down into the bowl, she felt her stomach churn as it gooped around in it's container. She looked at the stage, trying to ignore the food before her. Lily looked to her and asked in a soft whisper, "Are you alright?" Mina kept her eyes to the stage, holding the bowl. The fragrince drfiting up into her nostrils.
Lily rolled her eyes at Mina, who was acting very strange tonight. She reached over and popped a few kernels into her mouth. It tasted salty and buttery, and she whispered to Mina, "It's really good, try a few!"
Mina listened to Lily's words carefully. She pricked her fingers into the bowl and grabbed a couple of golden ones. She slipped one into her mouth and chewed it carefully, examining it's flavor, she thought it acualy wasn't that bad. She ate them swiftly as she watched the play go on.
Suddenly, the candlelight went out. Gasps came from the crowd, and an air of uneasiness came about. Suddenly, a roaring could be heard, with a crunch and a few screams from Stybian Guards. Lily got up and lit the candles with a few fireballs, revealing a 10 ft. tall behemoth, an ogre! The crowd started screaming and panicking everywhere. Lily told Mina, "Mina, get everyone to safety!"
Mina nodded and took off quikley, grabbing the hands of children and and the elderly, shouting to the ones that were panicking to follow her and stay out of the way. Rounding up the lost children, they stood about hundred feet away from the theater. Looking into the now smoke infested theater, she felt her heart sink, but kept faith in Lily to be alright.
Lily's thoughts raced through her skull. What was an ogre's weakness? She learned monster anatomy as one of her studies, but she couldn't remember an ogre's weakness. She kept her distance from the ogre, ordering Stybians to flank the ogre, while she threw fireballs at it, but to no avail to the ogre's tough hide. The ogre then gobbled up a Stybian Guard whole, much to her disgust. She then remembered what an ogre's weakness was: cleanliness! Ogres are beings of flatulence, dirtiness, and perverseness. She went inside the Thespian Lounge and barricaded herself inside, trying to contact Mina via magic. "Mina! Mina! The ogre's weakness is cleanliness!" She hoped Mina was hearing her.
Mina felt her head pounding, soon she then heard a voice rolling through and echoing in her skull, hearing Lily's voice, she smiled to know she was alright. She ran to the theater swiftly. Looking up at the giant beast she pulled her glasses away from her face, revealing large deep blue eyes. Pulling out a spray bottle for cleaning window's, she ran fast towards the ogre, a slight grin touched her lips as she jumped on the ogre's lower leg, flipping backwards and spraying the toxins on his rough hide. She landed on her feet and quikly went after him again, grabbing the pin that held her hair up and stabbing it into his thigh, she held on tightly as she sprayed more toxins into his hide. The ogre tossed and twisted everywhere. The guards shot arrows at it as he slowly came down to the ground. Mina jumped onto a near-by balcony as the ogre tumbled down. Lily came through a window she mananged to get open while in the Thespian Lounge.
Lily looked at Mina, then at the ogre, then back at Mina, awestruck. She opened her mouth to say something, then closed it back up. She then chose her words and said, "Mina... what happened here?", her eyes as wide as the bowls the popped corn was served in.
"It's not done yet." Mina's eyes narrowed as her eyes kept bay with the ogre. She looked to the curtain hanging to what once was a theater, a decor for the booth. She pulled it down and climbed onto the balcony's railing and stared down at the beast that was tossing. Mina threw her spray bottle at the ogre. And as the ogre looked to her, she looked back grinning, jumping from the balcony and gliding through the air. Lily jumped forward, staying behind the railing and watching as her friend falls to her death. Mina aims the sharp part of the curtain to the floor, and as she meets face to face with the ogre, the curtains end slashes through the ogre's skull and brain.
Lily holds back a bit of vomit, and races downstairs to meet with Mina. She's completely dumbstruck and can barely speak. She then decides to say, "Again... WHAT HAPPENED?", her eyes now bigger than the ogre's stomach full of Stybians.
Mina turned to Lily, placing her glasses back on and hiding her eyes. She smiled, her blood splattered dress a mess and torn, she holds it, looking down. "Tisk tisk tisk, what a shame to ruin this dress." Mina shook her head and looked at Lily. "Might even take me a whole week to get these stains out! Oh, and this was nothing, really. Just cleaning, as to what I am to do." Mina smiled at Lily.
Lily swallowed her words. The show was ruined, Mina became possibly Bealyth's greatest maidwarrior, and there were ogre brains all over the stage floor. She then just decided that this was a regular day in Bealyth and she wouldn't speak of this. She then calmly said, "Let's go home.", smiling.
