Amaris Academy is a group roleplay based within a college for witches located outside of modern-day Salem, MA. This is an interactive roleplay that surrounds the life of college-age students (18 - 22) who are learning to control their magical and elemental abilities. In our world, witches are gifted, by the goddesses, one of our seven elements at the end of their first year, these include: Air, Fire, Earth, Water, Spirit, Light & Dark. First years take part in what is called a claiming ceremony where an element is gifted to them - though new members of our group can also choose to join as an upperclassman if they wish.
Amaris is an ever changing and evolving, each school year lasts around 13 weeks and a character is educated over four years of college. This means our students improve their capabilities, develop new skills, age and eventually graduate to become alumni, opening the door for younger students to enroll. We are now entering our legacies phase of the roleplay where several of our alumni have their children attending. The Academy is world renowned for being the best educational institute for young witches, hosting the largest concentration of rare, Spirit and Light witches but also now a pioneering college in dark magic education.
Our roleplay has been active for almost two years, and we're constantly looking to welcome new members to our group. Below is a link to our website which shares more information about who we are and what we're about. I have highlighted a few unique features about our Amaris as well.
:a: Adults only as roleplay does contain some student themes (partying, drugs, ERP optional).
:people_holding_hands: Players can have multiple characters enrolled, maximum of two for new members.
:camera_with_flash: In-Character social media platform known as 'Witch-app'.
:calendar_spiral: Regular roleplay events throughout the school year, eg. Formals, Keg Parties and more!
:crossed_swords: Friendly PvP optional, we do host a school tournament each year and there's also duelling club!
:mega: Each character can join up to three clubs from a large list of options - which helps you make friends in character!
A built in extra credit list - improve your character's grades by completing tasks during roleplays.
