Makayla rocked back and forth on the heels on her feet as she waited in front of the mall. She held a duffel bag in front of herself, one of her dad's that he let her use for the day. She was little nervous and but a lot excited. A date with Gaynor! Wah, it made her so happy! Plus water fun and swimming, what else could a girl ask for with the amount of fun bound to happen at a water park with your crush.
Gaynor's mom's car pulled in the mall parking lot. "Please be careful, don't slip on anything! There's a lot of water you could slip and fall on!" She had been telling him things like this the whole trip there.
"Mom, please.." Gaynor was embarrassed, "I'll watch where I'm going."
He opened the car door and hopped out, holding some swim shorts, a tank top and a thin, semi-transparent black jacket to wear over his swimming outfit when he wasn't swimming. He waved to his mom, who went in the opposite direction, heading to her favorite clothing store, probably.
Gaynor ran up to Makayla, excited to see her. He had almost dropped the swimming outfit, but managed to keep them in his arms. "Makayla!" He shouted happily. "I'm so excited, we're going to have so much fun!"
