Eileadora

First and foremost, this group is based in Furcadia and all RP happens within the dream(s) in Furcadia.

Etla Isle is a continuity, meaning that all RP that happens affects all other future RP. What might seem like a random encounter can easily weave into the story and affect several other people. For this reason we maintain a strict sense of ICA=ICC (In Character Actions have In Character Consequences).

There are two main dreams in the continuity; Eileadora and Valshiem. Eileadora is 16+ and Valshiem is 18+. Please be aware of this when traveling between maps!

By joining this group you confirm the following:
1) You are at least 16 years of age.
2) You've read and agree to follow the rules.

Etla Isle started in late 2000. It is set in a medieval/renaissance fantasy era and has used magic to make technological advancements. We have an entire island at our disposal for the sake of plots and story, nestled within it's own little bubble in time/space. Eileadora is the main dream, set in the northern part of the island and we now have a secondary dream, Valshiem, which is far in the south.

Eileadora is a bustling Queendom, where women tend to outrank men, as has been the island's tradition for centuries. Queen Elora maintains a peaceful reign over the northern portion of the island, offering sanctuary to all who find themselves on the shores of the strange island.

Valshiem is known as the City of Scoundrels. It is a lawless place, far to the south, governed by whichever crime lord seems to be in power at the moment. It's home to criminals, pirates, vagabonds, slaves and whores. Or anyone else trying to make an entrepreneurial living in the south, though the city does have a large port and regular trade routes through the rift.

The Rift surrounding the island allows us a special connection through time and space, allowing us to welcome nearly all species and races (furres, humans, fae, dwarves, trolls, vampires, lycans, goblins, gremlins, dryads, swamp monsters, lesser demons...) We do however, try to keep balanced character sheets for all members (main characters and alternates) to keep play somewhat fair and within continuity.
