The Argent Order is a part of the Stredlands, an alternate timeline of Furcadia's Kasuria where most of the continent is ruled by wizard Houses.
Founded by Vernius Vriss, the Argent Order specializes in Silver Magic. This magic can heal any living thing, even beings from the outer planes like gods, angels, and demons. Silver magic primarily heals by accelerating the body's natural healing processes. Advanced users can guide the process more precisely.
Recently, the new Lord Abbott, Chester Reming, has introduced a new specialized magic called Fleshcrafting. With this new magic in their arsenal, practitioners can not only heal wounds, but restore lost limbs or organs.
The Order maintains funding through the Wizard Houses of the Stredlands, who pay retainer fees to have a dedicated Order member on staff for their private use. These retainers not only pay for training and housing of recruits, but also members that travel the lands, allowing common folk access to healing for no charge.
The current strength of the Order is approximately 10,000 healers, as those able to master the silver magic are relatively rare.
