Gods
Their divinity was tarnished; their identities abducted and stolen reforged by the tongues of foreigners. Their names replaced with blasphemies, foreign words that were unheard of in the heavens before. The sacredness that once surrounded them had been profaned and still they could not break free from their purposes.

To rekindle the embers of the divine flame, Champions must embark on a perilous quest to honour their God. Their noble deeds shall restore balance and earn them the respect of devout followers. In questing for the Gods as their champions, they may bestow upon your character boons and bonuses.

If you should run afoul a God - then beware, they're not known to take sleights lightly. They are known to unleash wrath with abandon upon those who dare defy them. Brace yourself for divine retribution.

also known as Zeus; the king of the gods, associated with lightning, thunder, and the ruler of the heavens.


I AM JUPITER, THE RULER OF OLYMPUS AND THE FATHER OF GODS AND MEN.



Amidst the claps of thunder and blinding flashes of lightning, a towering figure reigns with authority over the cosmos. His powerful visage, adorned with a golden crown and grasping a bolt of power in his fist, is none other than Jupiter, the mightiest ruler of the gods. As he looms high above the skies, his voice echoes throughout eternity, reminding all that would disobey his unbridled power of their fate should they cross him. His favoured, known as the Guardians of Justice, who have devoted themselves to uphold law and order in the divine kingdom. With unwavering spirit these brave souls serve beneath his rule, fighting for justice with all their might and protecting the weak from those seeking only to create chaos.

JUNO
Also known as Hera: the queen of the gods, protector of marriage and women.


AH, MORTAL, YOU HAVE COME TO PAY YOUR RESPECTS. SPEAK, FOR I AM JUNO, THE QUEEN OF OLYMPUS.

As the sun set on the horizon, a silhouette emerged from atop the highest tower of the castle; her figure cloaked in a brilliant light. It was Juno, Queen of the Gods, whose presence commanded respect and authority. Her elegant crown glimmered in the fading sunset as did her flowing robes that bore witness to her sovereign status. She crossed her arms and gazed out onto her realm with piercing eyes that embodied both strength and wisdom. In this place, justice was held in the highest regard, and loyalty was absolute. All who dared oppose it were met with the wrath of Juno, whose determination and resolve inspired her people to pursue their noble goals. To behold her visage was to be awestruck by the divine might that resided within; she was the embodiment of sovereignty itself.

Neptune
Also known as Poseidon: the god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses.


A SEEKER OF THE DEPTHS, I SEE. I AM NEPTUNE, THE RULER OF THE SEA.

For in the depths of the restless sea lies an ancient power. He has long held dominion over the waves and creatures that have called it home since time immemorial. Behold, Neptune, God of the Sea, his trident a symbol of strength and symbolism. His voice carries with it a serene power, both gentle and unyielding. The tides roll in and out as timeless cycles, reminders for mortals of the eternity of the waters. They are unpredictable yet ever-reaching, engulfing all who stand before them with a power as if born of some divine source.


THE SEA DEMANDS RESPECT AND REWARDS THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND ITS POWER. BUT REMEMBER, THE SEA CAN BE BOTH A PROVIDER AND A TAKER.

Mars
Also known as Ares: the god of war, embodying courage, strength, and military strategy.



I AM MARS, THE GOD OF WAR, AND THE COMMANDER OF LEGIONS. SPEAK YOUR PURPOSE.


The God of War, Mars, was a spectral figure of glory and might. Those who saw him in battle were humbled by his imposing strength and courage; his armour glinting under the sun, sword raised high! No foe could face him and live to tell the tale, no enemy escaped his wrath. For as sure as the clash of swords and the crackle of fires meant that war had befallen a land so too did it mean that Mars had come to bring salvation or destruction. Brothers-in-arms followed him ardently into battle, knowing that they shared in his strength, while the wise sought his guidance in strategy and honour. Victory would only come with their purest intentions, but with such determination combined with Mars' divine favour nothing would stand before them.

YOU, MORTAL, ARE A SOLDIER IN AN AGE-OLD WAR, WHERE CHALLENGES ABOUND AND DEATH FEASTS ON THE JUST. THOUGH DANGER LOOMS BEFORE YOU, REMEMBER THAT HONOUR PREVAILS IN THE END.

Also known as Athena: The goddess of wisdom, crafts, and strategic warfare.

HALT, MORTAL, AND STATE YOUR PURPOSE..



Minerva, the Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy, was a brilliant flame that illuminated the minds of mortals. Her fierce eyes and strong presence were traits of wisdom and tactical insight. When she appeared it was as if the gods had blessed the world with an omen of strength and prescience to those in need of her divine counsel.

PROCEED, MY CHILD, AND STAY VIGILANT. REMEMBER WELL THAT KNOWLEDGE IS A NEVER-ENDING QUEST, AND THE PATH TO WISDOM LIES IN THE USE OF ALL YOU HAVE GLEANED.

Also known as Aphrodite: The goddess of love, beauty, and desire.

SPEAK YOUR DESIRES, AND I SHALL OFFER MINE WISDOM, AS THE SPIRIT OF LOVE, YEARNING, AND SUBLIME ALLUREMENT.


Venus, the Queen of Love and Desire, was renowned for her inimitable beauty. She captivated both mortals and gods alike, a bewitching sight that left all breathless beneath her glimmering gaze. Her gleaming smile and twinkling eyes were like portals to an otherworldly bliss where love reigned supreme. Admirers from all corners of the universe would flutter to her side with offerings of devotion and admiration, showering her with praise and adoration. Poets, romantics, artists, and dreamers of passion gathered around her with hope, seeking to decipher the mysteries of love and romance. For these were the Devotees of Desire - worshipping Venus’s grace as they created works of art that sought to capture her beauty in its purest form.

Mercury, the Messenger of the Gods, strode across the realms with an imperceptible grace. His presence was a reminder of far-reaching wisdom and ancient secrets. The air seemed to ripple around him as he moved, conveying his mischievous energy. He pierced through worlds with his iconic gaze, imbued with an understanding of the depths of communication and travel. Amongst his people, Mercury has a powerful reputation for unlocking mysteries, and his fleet movements symbolise a mastery of messaging that few could rival.

The god of music, healing, prophecy, and the sun.

DECLARE YOUR INTENT, AND I SHALL BESTOW UPON YOU MY COUNSEL AS THE SOVEREIGN OF MELODY, VERSE, AND THE EFFULGENT MASTERPIECES.

The Prince of the Sun, Apollo, shined his golden light into the world. His grandeur brings a mesmerising beauty to all he touches, while his voice enchanted any who dare to listen. The Earth stirred with life in response his presence, as flowers bloomed and muses sway to the symphonic harmony that caressed the air. It was an aura of perfection that illuminated both realms of existence, not one could ever withstand its blinding power. Around him, the air is suffused with the fragrance of creativity, and the world becomes a canvas upon which mortals can express themselves through music, poetry, and the visual arts.

The goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and the moon.

Diana, the mythical huntress of legend and lore. Her name alone instills fear in her enemies, while her followers are filled with courage for they know that, with her silver bow and crescent crown, she protects the wilds and guards her sacred creatures. Those who stand alongside her become blessed with heightened senses, able to perceive the slightest scents and hear the faintest calls of nature. Their aim is unparalleled by any mortal archer, as if guided by Diana herself. And when night falls, she roams freely among the shadows of the forest, a beacon of strength and grace, forever watchful over her subjects.

Vulcan
also known as Hephaestus: The god of fire, blacksmithing, and craftsmanship.

SPEAK YOUR PURPOSE, AND I SHALL SHARE WITH YOU THE WISDOM THAT FLOWS FROM MY MIGHTY HAMMER.

Vulcan, the Lord of Flame and Forge, wielded his hammer and anvil like a master craftsman, moulding the borders of reality with his unyielding strength. Vulcan loomed like a dark sentinel, his smouldering eyes bespeaking the inferno inside of him. The sinews of his arms were hardened by countless days in the forge, and he could wield his hammer with an authority that only gods could claim. The flames of the furnaces leapt in tandem to the ringing chorus of hammer and anvil, its tempo slowly crescendoing until it seemed as though the very walls of the workshop would tremble. As Vulcan raised his tools once more, it was almost as if time itself held its breath.




LET THE FORGE OF AMBITION BE YOUR ANVIL, AND LET THE SPARKS OF YOUR INSPIRATION BE YOUR HAMMER.

Also known as Dionysus: The god of wine, celebration, and ecstasy.

SPEAK THY WISHES - AND LET US WALK TOGETHER, REVELLING IN LIFE'S MISCHIEVOUS ARDOR.


Bacchus, God of Wine and Celebration--the epicenter of debauchery, awakening passions and overcoming fears with an aura of exhilaration. His laughter echoes off the walls, filling the air with his wild spirit. Bacchus' mischievous eyes glimmers in the dim light as he stirs passions amongst all present, freeing them from their fears and inhibitions. His followers revel in the intoxicating elixir, indulging in the pleasures of the senses and surrendering themselves to the euphoria of the moment. They know full well the invigorating power of revelry and used it to find solace in their sorrows, discarding all their worldly worries and basking in the rapturous arms of Bacchus' forbidden haven.

Also known as Demeter: the goddess of agriculture, fertility, and the harvest.

CHILD OF THE EARTH, I HEAR YOUR PLEA.

THE FERTILE SOIL IS YOUR ALLY, AND THE SEEDS OF ABUNDANCE LIE WITHIN YOUR HANDS.

The grand and bounteous land of the mortal realm is blessed with the presence of Ceres, Goddess of Agriculture, Harvest and Fertility. With her nurturing spirit, she brought abundance and life wherever she ventured – the goddess's touch blessing the soils with fertility and ensuring plentiful harvests. Her grace filled communities with flourishing crops and fed the people for many years to come. Thus did Ceres come to embody the eternal cycle of growth, bestowing upon them sustenance in good times and bad.

Pluto
Also known as Hades: The god of the underworld, ruler of the realm of the dead.

MORTAL, YOU HAVE VENTURED INTO THE HEART OF DARKNESS, SEEKING TRUTHS THAT LIE BEYOND MORTAL COMPREHENSION.

SPEAK THY PURPOSE, AND I SHALL GRANT YOU AN AUDIENCE.

Pluto, his eyes like burning embers in a black sky and regal demeanour as if he were a king of the underworld. He presides over his realm with an iron fist, guiding the wayward spirits of the departed through the dark mists to their final destination. His realm is one of transcendent beauty and abject horror—rivers of lost dreams winding through a shadowy landscape, ghostly echoes rising from forgotten paths, and a sense of eternity hovering in the air. Beyond Pluto's gaze lies an unending maze through which all creatures must travel at some point in time, to find either solace or sorrow among its obscured walls.

Proserpina
Also known as Persephone: The queen of the underworld and goddess of springtime and vegetation.


RISE, CHILD OF THE MORTAL REALM, AND SPEAK YOUR HEART'S DESIRES.


The Underworld, a realm of darkness and shadows, is ruled by Proserpina, the daughter of Ceres and Jupiter. Her commanding beauty exuded an aura of mystery and authority. Souls from the mortal world flock to her like moths to light. She wears a crown of pomegranate seeds that gave her a regal countenance. The air in her kingdom is thick with whispers of lost souls and forgotten stories. Rivers of shades meander about, while ethereal flowers bloom in hues unseen by mortal eyes. Ancient trees stood as silent guardians. It was here that Proserpina held sway over lost spirits and guided them on their eternal journey. Those who seek her favour are drawn to this hauntingly beautiful domain of profound introspection.
