Barbary Zoo
& Aquarium

Location Native to: World #10025 - Barbary Grove

Barbary Zoo and Aquarium is a small but pleasant little getaway at the edge of the city. Its aquarium portion is the attraction’s centerpiece, a squat, glass pyramid surrounded by the zoo exhibits. Barbary zoo may not have the sheer quantity of animals that many other larger zoos might have, but its residents, fish and otherwise, are very well cared for.

During the day, the zoo is popular with all sorts, including local field trips, and every Saturday night it opens for Barbary Zoo After Dark, an event only open to adults, offering drinks, dancing, and somewhat less rambunctious crowds. The zoo has a small park attached to it that’s popular during these events that’s nice for a moonlit stroll or so, or good for a picnic or game of frisbee during the day.

Things to Do
❂ Meet one of our Animal Ambassadors for an extra fee and learn what goes into taking care of our scaled, furry, and feathered friends here at Barbary Zoo! Current offerings include Cheetahs, sloths, penguins, and small animals. Zebra encounter no longer offered.

❂ Every Saturday night is Barbary Zoo After Dark! Come join us for this adults only event and enjoy sips and tapas while you enjoy the zoo after hours.

❂ Enjoy our special carousel located at the front of the zoo. Each animal featured is from Earth's past, from dinosaurs to the Tasmanian tiger, reminding us that extinction is forever, but that we can also help continue to protect the species still with us. All carousel proceeds go to conservation efforts.
