The toxins that were left behind by the war changed the animals that roamed the earth. Massive flat faced wolves with a mouth inside of a mouth, Featherless birds that stand six feet tall with spines running down their backs, Lizards with bubbling scaleless skin. These beast are more common than others. These beasts are also the most destructive. Killing and devouring the last few humans they can find. The humanoid beasts are much worse. Slumped forms with overly long long arms and a mouth in their stomach full of razor sharp teeth. Vast expanses of land poisoned and dieing, spreading its disease unto anything that it touches. Plants that activly hunt anything that enters their domain, consuming it without making the slightest of noise. Earth quakes and weather changes strike at the most inopertune times.
This is the world the surviors saw when they crawled out from their underground hiding places and this is the world in which they must learn to survive. Welcome to life after the end.
