Carrie arrives July 24th, and her father did secure her the job at the town hall. He has ties to the town via the House only - it had been bought by HIS father as an investment property and rented out, the Vance family did not reside in Lauren Hill Springs until Carrie’s arrival. I’m totally down with him having ties to Oberloch, if that would be a smooth transition! Or even Carrie’s grandfather having further secret ties to the town deeper than remotely running a rental in it.
