Background: He was born and raised in Brooklyn and joined the military when he was 17. He was an exceptional soldier and even went through and completed Ranger school and RASP. After a 7-year stint in the army, he was injured in combat and was sent home. The flight home was interrupted by Japanese terrorists and he was taken as a hostage to Japan. The captors were unaware of the fact that Seth was a childhood friend of a high-ranking member of the Yakuza, and through that connection, they had found out that Seth was taken hostage whilst on a civilian flight. Seth was brought to a Yakuza safehouse, and was then went to a military base in Okinawa. On that base, being that he was technically still in the military, he was subjected to an experiment where we was given several doses of experimental nanotechnology where he was injected with millions of microscopic techno-organic robots that increased his physical and mental abilities. When he got home, he returned to Brooklyn when he was approached by a Yakuza underboss that asked him to go to Laurel Hill Springs and investigate some situations.
He took on the alter-ego of Red Hood since Red Hood was his favorite comic book character. When he isn't suited up, he always carries a fighting knife and a pocket pistol.
