I believe this is the right place to propose things. These rp can be carried out in threads or in private messages depending on whether you want people to be able to read over the scene. I am more familiar with getting notifications through PM so the thread feed evades me at times.
I was going to put Crumbs under the bridge in the north, beneath the train tracks. Despite always being present there, you can often come across Crumbs out and about.
Some proposed ideas for Crumbs:
-Crumbs can show up at someone's house and tell them there's 'someone inside that needs to get out'. This could be played similarly to a haunted house deal, but not quite simply a ghost. Depending on someone's boundaries, it would be shaped to not include triggers for the person but would likely entail some form of cryptid/eldritch horror, some manifestation of someone's fears/guilt/dysfunction/etc. It may also just be a raccoon that got stuck in the walls.
-Pocket dimensions with Crumbs. Here and there throughout the town there could be little pockets that people can slip inside and get stuck. They likely aren't visible, but may be entered by: stepping on a puddle and going straight into it, walking under an archway, walking through an abandoned doorway, travelling down a long road without any buildings present, walking through a narrow passageway like a back alley, and even going into a familiar room and closing the door behind you. Whatever way you get there, Crumbs can show up and help. In some instances it is just about travelling out of the pocket, and other times Crumbs may not be there for the one who fell in, but someone/something else. Regardless it usually requires the pocket be closed through some procedure. Sometimes this may entail returning an object to where it is meant to be, fulfilling a ritual, or even helping the trapped individual process something within themselves to be able to escape limbo.
-Item exchanges with Crumbs. If you bring Crumbs a group of items, he may offer to trade for one, offering in exchange simple charms sometimes made of stone, wood, even plastic to hang over your doorway. Doing so may grant a visitor based on the charm hung there. This can be anything from a person to a stray dog, one eyed cat, living shadow, the creeping roots of a sapient tree, or a loaf of bread left upon the stoop on a Tuesday. You can ask for a specific visitor OOC with some requests like wanting to delve into your character's caring nature, or their struggles with PTSD after losing a loved one, even just wanting them to enjoy a suspiciously delivered meal after being depressed and unable to cook for themself for some time.
Crumbs may gift a charm to someone, even if they do not offer an item for trade, if it seems they need it. For those who do not have houses, it can be hung on rearview mirror of cars or simply tucked under one's pillow/held close while sleeping. Wherever it is placed will change how the visitor appears, though.
Items that are likely to be accepted can range, but things Crumbs has taken before are:
-compasses, barometers, hydrometers, metal detectors, tamagotchi pocket pets, rubber ducks, rubber bands, duct tape, toothpick umbrellas, small bones/teeth, leather/skin, locks of braided hair, hag stones/rocks in general, ribbon scraps and socks.
Crumbs will accept many offerings, so feel free to come to him with many things.
And in general, anyone who would like to go and just talk with Crumbs can find him under that northern bridge beneath the tracks. Crumbs is a bit socially and culturally ignorant so he may not understand tone, insinuation, expectations and obligations, and may ask a lot of 'why' questions, but maybe that's what your character needs? In any case, bridge man.
He will not eat or drink in front of you. Anything where the mask is intended to be removed will likely just be bypassed.

OOC, separate from Crumbs, I am happy to play unrelated horror scenes with people absent of Crumbs and instead having different characters. I will not have personally drawn art for those scenes and characters, but sometimes horror does better with descriptions, anyways.
Regardless, if we are to have a rp that is more than a short scene, especially if delving into a more lengthy thread with your character:
I will require that we go over what each player is comfortable with or might desire from the story.
Triggers and limitations must be discussed before proceeding just to be sure I don't pull out a scene that goes past simple fun into actually distressing someone.
I think that is all. I hope this is the appropriate spot for this. Feel free to post here or message me privately- I tend to notice PMs before thread notifications, though, they blend in with everything else on the feed.

This is great! I’m loving every little morsel!
