CANON WANT AD: Tridano “Bull” de Mezzo
31 / Corazzieri / Howard Charles
I am hoping that someone will round out my Corazzieri with a PB of choice. The man's name is Triadano de Mezzo. The man's nickname is Bull... for reason I leave up to the taker... He is all muscle and huge hands that could snap a neck easily... but he cradles an injured dove with compassion... he is quick and agile for his size. But he breaks the stereotype with being somewhat intelligent and not just a bit brute. He could come from anywhere, and his past history can be yours... and maybe his mother and him escaped to Italy,...
At an early age, he learned to fend for himself... and found the Corazzieri as a safe haven and security, a reason he's passionate about being one... oh yes, thru the turmoil years long before Marco, Dante, and Sasha arrived, who become his three best friends ... he predominantly has a spirited character.
His actions are based on what he feels like and whether he's in the right mood. He loves to laugh... enjoys a challenge... and often heads directly for the front line to get a fight... Fearless, even in precarious positions, he enjoys the experience and learning new tricks. he can take fights seriously. Has good loyalty to the Corazzieri, but foremost, personally to Marco, Dante, and Sasha.
NAME: Tridano “Bull” de Mezzo
GENDER: Male
NICKNAME: Bull
AGE: 31
SEXUALITY: Straight
PLAY BY: Howard Charles
❖ Appearance ❖
Whilst military service drove home to always care for one’s weapons, it never extended much to his own appearance. He always appears, as if he had slept in his clothing, and forgotten to shave. Overall, it gave him a rough exterior, belying his intelligence and much warmhearted character. He is tall and broad shouldered, stands at well, well over 6'4 and has broad shoulders to match. His hands are large, and callused - proving he is well used to hard work and sword play. Having gained the nickname of "Bull" in his younger years, on his far travels he now sports a tattoo on his right shoulder in the shape of a minotaur.
❖ Personality ❖
Loyal to his friends, good-natured and full of humor that has not lost touch with the realities of life. Having traveled much within and without La Republica, he realized the wonder of what Venice means and is and has increased his loyalty to his home manigfold; yet another thing he held in common with Marco. He follows a deeply ingrained code of honor of respect and courtesy and does what he feels is right. However, having been a military man for long, he knows how to give, and follow orders.

On July 17, 1543, Tridano de Mezzo entered the world feisty, screaming and protesting. He was the fifth child of Geronimo and Margarete de Mezzo - a wealthy family with some minor influence within the Venetian grande scheme.
They were land owners and their wealth came from leasing out those lands to be used by others. Farmers, vintners, brewers, breeders. Much of their land was concentrated in the Veneto region and thus fairly stable and mostly untouched by the more volatile changes La Repùblica experienced in further flung agricultural regions, like its colonies further out.
The youngest son, with 3 older sisters and one older brother was a welcome "spare", but focus on handing the family wealth down had always lain with his brother. Tridano grew up with all the leisure and tutorship he wished. Out of curiosity he attended his brother's lessons and studied languages with his siblings.
When he reached the age of twelve, his father allowed the son to make true on his wishes to join the Military. He was sent into a military school in France first, then joined at seventeen the Royal Naval Academy in London where he met Marco d'Ezzelini. The two, albeit Marco being a year Tridano's senior found they had much in common, both being the youngest child, born to wealth. Both far from home. Tridano looked up (metaphorically, since he stood almost a head taller than Marco) and admired Marco's talents and leadership. As a result, he barely left the man's side throughout their shared years at the Academy.
Tridano grew tall, and broad shoulders not stopping to grow until he stood well over 6'4 and though his form was always nimble, and muscular he towered over most. His bulk did not belie his strength, and in many competitions of wrestling and fighting, he came out on top by sheer strength alone. Winning many yearly Academy competitions, outstripping his own year and taking on the elders with ease, he soon earned the nickname "The Bull" - much like a Bull, he would not give in during combat until either he was felled unconscious, or truly and well bested.
When Marco left for the Royal Navy, Tridano remained behind to graduate a year later. He returned to Venice and enrolled in the Military for La Repùblica, and soon found himself stationed at the farthest borders of Venice' colonies. He traveled many years between Dalmatia, Montenegro and the Ionic Isles, learning a generous smattering of Greek, Russian, and Hungarian on top of the languages he had acquired in his childhood and youth.
After more than seven years away from "home", his military contract ran out and he had no further notion of extending it once more. Home was calling, and he was eager to rejoining Venice. He did so, and found himself seeking out his old friend Marco - following the man's footsteps he enrolled in the Reggimento Corazzieri and has been working by his side ever since returning home.
