Strawberry blond, with soft green eyes, Lucretia is an attractive girl, but being in a house of Fiore (Flowers)... with all their beauty she can be overlooked, in her lackluster day dresses, and tight bun that sets her apart from the courtesans.

PERSONALITY:
Lucretia is likely found in her off time with a book, curled up in the Library of the Croce Appannata, part of what she loves about working and living there is the Library, the second is her Employer, who she adores and serves lovingly. When no one is around she tries on the beautiful dresses and jewelry, but she is far too much of a good girl to ever go down that route. Instead she dreams of a life as a seamstress, and helps the resident seamstress with designing gowns for the courtesans and delicate embroidery for the Madame. She enjoys the sense of sisterhood amongst the cortigiana, for she is the only girl in a family of seven sons. She loves her family with all her heart and wants to do well to help them rise above the station of Fishermen. She is Catholic and faithfully attends mass, even though she is conflicted about the reality of her job, versus her faith. She believes there is a plan in place for her life, and trust in her Savior to guide her path.

CHARACTER HISTORY:
Lucretia is a GOOD GIRL, from a small fishing village, one of 7 children and the only girl of the bunch. The apple of her father’s eye, and spoiled with love by Father and Mother, as well as all of her brothers.

Her parents dream of a better life than the back-breaking work of a fishmonger, or the endless worry of being a fisherman’s wife for their daughter. So they sent her to the Cortigiana Onesta for some training and education.

Lucretia is intelligent and unlike most common folk can read write and has a penchant for numbers. She has come to work as a maidservant in the House of the Croce Appannata (The Tarnished Cross), so that perhaps she can change her fate, and be something more than just a Fishermen’s wife.
