- Plans on turning the city into a theocracy where the priests of Torm the True control all aspects of governance.
- Has a mistress despite his oath of celibacy
- Helped kill the Mage's Apprentice and cover it up
- The Mage
- The Mage has been dabbling in Necromancy which will upset the Paladin and the Cleric
- The mage ratted out the thief in return for a favour after the thief robbed a friendly mage The thief had to return what he stole and did several months hard time. More important to him was the hit to his reputation.
- The Thief
- The Thief has been hording treasure and magical items
- The Thief used inside knowledge to steal a priceless Clerical artifact then used his friendship with the Cleric to hide the evidence
- The thief is sleeping with the Paladin's daughter
- The thief assassinated Bishop Rheuben, a friend of the Cleric so that a rival could be ascertained as Cardinal.

The remain of Gargol the Unrepentant are located in the Grand Mausoleum in the center of the Bones District, also known as the City of the Dead. The Grand Mausoleum contains the remains of those that could be a danger if raised or resurrected and are well guarded.
