Age Requirements
Blackwood is an adult-themed space for players 18 years and older, with no exceptions. If you are found to be under 18, you will be banned from the game and related platforms.
All characters must also be depicted as 18+ in any media linked to the game.
Courtesy, Respect, and Authority
Treat others with respect and courtesy, both in and out of character.
Respect the authority of staff members. If you have concerns about staff, address them privately with OOC staff.
Harassment and Silence Rule
No tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or offensive behavior. This includes cyberbullying, abuse, and bias against ethnicity, orientation, or beliefs.
Significant actions (like mass destruction or NPC deaths) need staff approval. Unapproved actions will be ignored.
Characters must align with the game's setting to participate in public scenes. If not, you may be asked to move to private areas.
Problems, Ejection, and Banishment
All official interactions with staff are logged and kept private.
If you are ejected or banned, staff will inform you with reasons. Blackwood reserves the right to ban anyone at its discretion.
Consent
You have control over your character. You’re not obligated to roleplay anything you’re uncomfortable with.
Communication with roleplay partners is key before taking significant actions.
IC actions have IC consequences (e.g., attacking an NPC guard can lead to serious outcomes).
Avoid god-modding (making your character all-powerful) and auto-hitting (assuming your action is automatically successful without the other player’s response). Communication with others ensures fair play.
