He was reading a fictional novel about victorian era demons, he didn't have the dust cover on it, so the title was not visible.

Chao was taking a jog for his small break at Bangkok Express. He stopped for a second beside Percy then dog whistled at the sight of the water. "Nice sight, isn't it?" Chao asked him even though he knew that the stranger had his nose in a book. Rap music could heard even with Chao wearing airpods.
Percy poked his head up, lowering his book, before turning his head to look at Chao. "Yes, an interesting sight. But I prefer the sounds and air, than sight." Percy said, almost monotone. He pulled the fabric bookmark around the book and into the page he was on, then closed the book, tucking it underneath his arm. "Reading in nature is calming."
