In the Intensive Care Unit of Oakview Hospital, Yoshimi Huynh rested peacefully. For the last several months, she had been in a trauma-induced coma, a seemingly eternal slumber. And for months, the heart monitor beeped...steadily, surely and rythemic. The room, sterile...bland. The faint scent of antiseptics. The plain, stiff sheets and the hustle and bustle on the other side of that door...Faint. Her eyelids fluttered. Exhuastion still had its grip on her. But her vision slowly cleared. Where...Where am I?

Although her heart stopped once she realized she was in a hospital. Slowly, she tried to sit up, but her muscles betrayed her, feeling suddenly sore and tired. Was it from her prolonged sleep? Maybe. Slowly, she sat up and pressed a button on her hospital bed to assist her. Why...why do I feel so heavy? Something was wrong. Very wrong...

Her hands glided over her stomach...Wait, what...She looked down, noticing the bump. Terrified, she took off the blanket. Her heart stopped. A belly...big belly. There was no denying that there was a bun in the oven. And it grew. But...how? As she felt movement within, she frowned before looking out the window.

Just how much has changed? And how long does she have until Motherhood approaches? There was a lot of preparation...but...how much time?
