Open Thread For Anyone To Interact With Aubree. Explicit Content May Be Ahead.

The urge to run that lived within a wolf was nearly impossible to ignore. It ate at the core of a person, and when denied, it grew until it was like an itch under the surface that was impossible to satisfy. That particular morning, it was raging inside, so Aubree decided to go for a run. When the run quickly turned out to be a little too easy against the ground, Aubree looked for ways to make it even better and more challenging. The activity helped her from wanting to just run away all together, but she suspected she was also semi-punishing herself for that.

She didn’t let either thought register as she adjusted and shifted the stones around the sand to force her to change direction and jump at times, but it was fun and challenging, and helped with mental capacity as well as physical discipline. Not to mention, the main reason that Aubree worked out. That was one was vain, and more personal, but if ever asked, she would tell what it was. It made her smile to herself even as she moved the stone into place, feeling the muscles in her arms start to burn.

She had already been doing this for several hours, and hadn’t even cracked the surface of the itch. She wasn’t irritated, however, and welcomed anyone who wishes to come and try out her course. For the moment, Aubree stepped back to check out her new mini-course, which just consisted of smooth, large stones she found and could “reasonably” lift, should she have an on-looker, in a specific pattern that was designed to use maximum potential to finish it. For someone used to big gyms and courses, this felt a little flat, but she was not going to complain.

As she surveyed her work, she walked to the bag she had left by the small bench near the start of the marina. She pulled out a large water bottle, and drank deeply from it as she felt the cold hit her heated system hard. She shivered in absolute delight, and considered pouring the rest of the water on her face. She refrained from that for now, and resigned to take a short break, leaned against one of the guard rails, pulling her phone from her pocket to check it to see if anyone had texted her yet that morning.
Text to Aubree: "Hey, Aubree. I am confirming our date. I will pick you up tomorrow evening at 6. Casual/comfort. See you then."

Creed sent a quick text to Aubree, letting her know what time and what to wear if she was unsure. He didn't fully understand women but knew enough to not let them stress over something as simple as clothing. He had asked her out a few days prior, but they had both been busy that night, so he scheduled it for a later date. They had texted some, though it was nice, he still wanted to get to know her in person. After the message was sent, he decided to freshen up to head out towards the marina to check on the boat. According to a source, there had been burglaries on some of them ships.

As he was finally dressed, he grabbed his wallet, keys, and phone, then strolled out his front door. When he got to the marina, he went straight towards his boat and inspected the outside. Making sure there was no vandalism like some of the others had previously. He climbed aboard the vessel and went straight to where he would keep his valuables. Though he knew it would not have been easy to steal from the ship itself, it wasn't necessarily impenetrable.

After he was done taking stock and having everything accounted for, he locked everything back up securely. He pulled out his phone from his pocket to check the time and noticed he was there for about an hour or more. He put the phone back in his pocket and climbed off the ship onto the deck. Then, he started walking towards the marina entrance. As he did, he saw movement from the corner of his eyes and turned to look. He then saw a very familiar blonde that had caught his interest the first time he saw her. Though he did already schedule a date, he would take any opportunity to talk to Aubree.

As he walked off the deck and down towards where she was leaning against one of the rails. He knew to make his presence known before approaching her completely, if she hadn't known already. He stuck his hands in his pockets and slowed down his pace as he walked towards Aubree. "Do you have the time? I want to remember the exact minute I first saw you." He cheekily said as he smiled and saw her looking at her phone. If she looked up at him, she would see he was joking and just making his presence known. He continued to saunter towards her and leaned against the rail next to her. "Hiya, Aubree." He greeted her as he sublty looked her over and then made direct contact with her eyes if she was looking at him. "Having a good day so far?"
Momentarily having looked away from her phone, the buzz in her hand brought her attention back to it. She opened and read the text from Creed, a smile tugging at her lips. Hitting reply, she wrote: “Hey! That sounds great. I’m looking forward to it.” Aubree sent the text back, and then slid the phone back into her pocket, and turned initially back to her makeshift course, but decided her final workout would be to clean it all up.

Once she was done, and muscles decently worked, she went to lean back against the railing, having lost track of time. She pulled out her phone to check the time, but before she could decide what she was going to do next, she heard a voice. She looked up and over at him as she heard his line, a smirk spreading over her face. Playfully, she said; “Oh, I’ll remember the exact minute. It’s not every day I get a line that creative." Blue eyes studied his face as he moved to lean beside her, and the playful smirk turned to a smile as he greeted her. “Heya, Creed.”

Aubree considered the question as it was asked of her, and somehow found herself a little surprised at the answer. She supposed she shouldn’t be, given that her time here so far had been going well. The realization made her smile. “Actually, yeah. Yeah, I am, thanks for asking. How’s your day going?” She asked him as she looked at him, then took a look around, seeming to realize something. “Bonus question, what are you doing out here at the marina?”
"I am more creative than you think. Just not with words. I have the 'insert foot' when I speak, which is a very real thing." He laughed at his self-deprecating joke as he leaned on the rail and greeted her. He smiled when she replied that she was actually having a good day. He was about to reply to her, returning the same question, but she suddenly asked her bonus question. He started chuckling at the curiosity he saw in her eyes as she looked around.

"I am having a decent day, also. As for why I am out here is because I have a ship docked in the marina. I had to come check on it after hearing about some reported burglaries." He responded truthfully as he broke his gaze away from her and started to look at the scene before him. He waited for her to reply if she did before he returned his glance towards her and asked, "What about you? What has you here?" He looked around the area and didn't see anything that would have her here, but just assumed maybe she was working out by what she had been wearing or needed fresh air.

As he waited for her reply, he felt his phone in his pocket vibrating incessantly. He reached to pull out the annoying device and turn it off, but froze in his movements when he saw the missed calls. They had been from an unknown number but then realized he had a new phone and not all of his contacts transferred over. It was the text he received that had him alert. He sent a quick reply and put it back in his pocket. "I bloody hate to cut this short. Truly, I do. But, something has come up, and it's not something I can ignore. It's time sensitive. I'm terribly sorry." He gave her an apologetic smile as he pushed off the rail to ready himself to make a hasty exit. He couldn't tell her exactly what it was about, but it felt like something always came up when they were around each other. "I guess this time it's me that has to make a swift exit. I will text you later, if you will allow."

He gave her a hopeful yet apologetic smile as he stepped away. "I can assure you. Come hell or high water I will be able to take you on that date tomorrow. But, I hope you won't hold it against me now for my sudden departure. If it wasn't life and deaths situation, I truly wouldn't be bailing right now." He gave her a reluctant wave as he started taking long strides away from her. He headed back towards the parking lot where his vehicle was and aimed for the secretive location that was recently sent to him. He knew his shot to date Aubree was probably slim to none now, but finding out what happened to his parents had always been at the top priority. And a key piece of evidence had just turned up.
