(Seriously? Also, at the age 15, Dai is already 6'5, so he is taller than Loran. )
A reddish purple wolf ran freely through the woods, enjoying the calm and quiet that it offered to him which was a release for him. A way to forget what he had done. It had been two years since he killed all those scientists and he still wish he hadn't done it but he had no choice, he wanted to be out and they made him kill his parents but he was just trying to get through everyday, just trying to survive but soon he would realize, living as a wolf wouldn't save him.
As days passed, he noticed the trees were being to thin out and he grew closer to noises that weren't familiar to him and quite loud. He drew closer to it, keeping his head down and knees bent. He sniffed the air and grew closer but when he saw less and less of trees and began see many different colors and sight, he also heard and scream somewhere near him which caused him to panic as he looked up and saw a woman staring at him with wide eyes then turned and ran but he did the same thing but stupidly ran into the road where a large car almost hit him until he ran away form it and then ducked into an alleyway heaving, though his body began to race with heat coarsening through his body and soon, he had shifted into his human form. He may still be only fifteen years of age, he was still large but only in height, the rest of him was lean and slim but not scrawny.

The day was perfect. It didn't matter how many customers complained, or if any were making trouble, nothing really bad happened, and he and Lilian were out for their afternoon walk. Life was peaceful, and he couldn't be happier, a fair skinned woman with beautiful green eyes and golden blonde hair held his arm firmly as they walked.
"I'm not kidding! The kid was really cute." She laughed, having told him a little bit about her morning when she went down to put the trash in the dumpster. Loran enjoyed it, reaching an arm around her. Nothing could ruin his day, the smile on his face growing. Summer would be coming soon. Just a month away.
"You should take a picture and show me, then. Because no one could be cuter than you." He chuckled, about to sneak a little kiss from Lilian when she suddenly pulled away from him. Confused, Loran let her go, wanting to ask her what was wrong when she suddenly ran into an alley.
"Lin, come on!" She called, but it didn't make it any clearer. Loran shrugged and followed her through the alley she ran into. It wasn't until they got pretty close that he realized what was going on, his eyes widening when he saw a boy, stark naked and looking pretty tired.
Thankfully, he was wearing layers. A plaid shirt over a white tank top. He pulled it off, put it over the man's shoulders and looked back at Lilian. They weren't that far from their place… "Lil, go get him some of my clothes." He said quickly, watching her nod as she ran off.
"Hey, are you okay?"

Dai had heard the voices coming closer to him but ignored them, moving to move deeper into the alley to hide but the female had spotted him before he could even try to run, though shaking terribly and missing the thick fur that once covered his body. He didn't move any closer to them like they did to him but was thankful for the bit of warmth the shirt put on him gave him. He nodded his head at the man's question, refusing to speak since he didn't trust his voice in the least, not being used to speak the English language, only to howl and bark when needed to drag attention and even then, that wasn't very common. He had worried that he would stick out in the dark of the night with his pale white skin and red hair with a tint of purple to it. He pulled the shirt tighter on him, though he could tell that the torso of it was bigger than his in width but not in length.
Lilian didn't take very long to come back with a pair of pants. She wasn't uncomfortable with the man who lacked clothes, but Loran was. Or at least, he was uncomfortable with the prospect of her seeing him in his nakedness. If needed, Loran was willing to help the man put on his clothes, noticing how much paler he was compared to him. Loran was lightly tanned from how much time he spent outside, but this man. He was almost sickly. It had him worried.
Once he was dressed, Lilian was the first to act, taking the strange man's hand, smiling at him gently. "My name is Lilian. And that's Loran. Are you hungry? Loran's a great cook." She cooed and laughed, acting like this was no big deal. It made Loran smile, nodding at her words.
"Yeah. I'll make you something warm to eat. Sound good?"

Dai didn't seem to have a problem dressing himself, more of trying to get a grip on the situation before him, not sure on what to do or how to react. He was a bit taken back by the young couples kindness, seeing as most humans had treated him badly or at least reacted strangely to him, but he thought they assumed he was just a normal human kid, though most assumed he was an adult because of his strange height. He knew that the girl, Lilian would feel the strange heat coming off his hand though it began to cool form the weather, it was still hot form the change. He nodded silently, though he didn't look at either of them, still worried that he might end up hurting them but he was also scared to be left alone in this strange place.
To most, they would be strange. The people of New York were usually really standoffish and pretty scared of anything that wasn't normal. As were most people. Lilian was always willing to give people chances, and Loran always did have a need to protect people, in his own way. Lilian didn't let go of the man's hand, leading him along like he were a child. They took him inside of the apartment. His height didn't do much to put them off. It was more strange to see him so quiet. Though that might not be so hard to understand, seeing as he was outside, naked. His hair looked like it was artificially coloured, so Loran assumed that they were similar. That he was probably caught on the bad end of the underground like he was once.
Loran left the man to Lilian while he went to make some soup. It'd be easier to eat than anything else. While Loran cooked, Lilian sat the man on the couch and smiled as she went around the apartment. Now that they were here, she could find something more comfortable for him to wear so he wouldn't stretch out Loran's shirt, grabbing that baggy sweater they were going to donate and a pair of Loran's sweat pants that always seemed to droop on him. "Here. These should fit a little better. I can probably make something better for you to wear later so we can buy you something to wear that isn't so small on you." She said, keeping a bright expression on her face at all times. "So what's your name? And why were you out in the alley all by yourself?" She asked, seated on the couch beside the man.
Looking at him, Lilian assumed that he was in his early twenties. He had a young face, but he didn't seem to be all that young considering his height. Plus, there weren't a lot of older people with dyed hair. She was very eager, enjoying the idea of meeting someone new. And this was like something out of a book. Given… more like something out of some old lady's erotica, but still, very cool albeit worrisome. To see a young man in the nude outside for no particular reason didn't exactly say that everything was okay.

Daimonas had stayed quite for the whole walk home, letting her guide him to wherever they were going seeing as he couldn't really decide on weather to trust these two people or not. They seemed nice and the guy looked similar to him with the same hair color though he couldn't tell if it was natural like his was. Though the height had no affect on them but he noticed, forgetting that he was much taller than most humans were.
Once inside, he sat down with Lilian and took the clothes gently form her when she handed them to him, though unsure if to go ahead and change now or wait until she had pointed out a place to change in, even if both them had already seen him in his birthday suit, he still would like the privacy. He was surprised by the question, unsure on how to answer or if he could still speak English or any language. He cleared his throat then spoke, though quietly. "D-Daimonas. I had just recently got out of the woods...a woman started to scream when she saw me so I ran and then some type of metal thing came out and nearly missed and I ducked into the alleyway and shifted forms." He wasn't sure if it was common or not for people to shift form a wolf to a human. "T-Thank you for your kindness though." He said, his voice barely reaching past a whisper. His voice was actually deep, which probably made him seem even older though he had just been reaching puberty for humans, his body had already adjusted to it.

Lilian was very happy to hear that the man could speak, but as he tried to describe what happened to him, she got incredibly confused. It was odd… She could understand why a woman would scream at seeing him, but what metal thing came out to hit him. And shifting forms? Shifting forms from what? She tilted her head, still quite puzzled, but soon she smiled again at his quiet thanks, having gotten up to her feet to show Daimonas to his room. "I don't really know what happened, but I'll figure it out eventually. You're very welcome, Daimonas." She smiled, walking over to the door to the room that was once hers, now a guest room for whoever they took in, which happened more often than one would think.
"Lil, you just gave him something else to wear. Don't you think you should show him the guest room. Or at least the bathroom?" Loran called from the kitchen, having tied back his hair into a little ponytail, wearing the pink apron that once was white until Lilian messed up the laundry one night a few years ago.
"Right, sorry! Come on. You can change and rest up in this room. You must be tired. Lin will come get you when the food's ready."

Daimonas as a bit surprised that they didn't seem to really question him at all, he had at least expected to be questioned about where he came form, how old he was, where his parents were, and so on but that didn't seem to be the case. He followed the woman, Lilian to the guest bedroom though he was thankful for the high ceiling though he almost hit his head against it once or twice. "Thank you, ma'am and sir." He said, though still quiet and a bit scared to say much. As he may look to be a confident person, he was really shy and bashful for a young teenager. He slipped into the bedroom and gently closed the door and changed into the clothes that Lilian had given him, glad that they fit a lot better than the previous one's she brought, though he guessed they belonged to Loran. He folded them up and set them on the night stand before laying down on the bed, surprised by the soft feeling. He was used to the cold hard floor of a lab or the unforgiving forest floor with all the leaves or, on those rare occasions, the rocky caves. He couldn't help himself, he ended up curling on his side and falling asleep quickly, forgetting for a moment that this wasn't where he belonged, that he needed to go back to the woods before dawn, before the young couple got too close and got hurt.
Loran and Lilian took this whole situation with Daimonas differently. Lil was energized, extremely happy with the prospect of helping someone while Loran was quiet, more pleased that Lilian looked so alive. Sure, he wanted to help, too, already thinking about friends he could call to get Daimonas a permanent home. Once Dai shut the door, Lilian had skipped merrily to the kitchen. If she had a tail, it would probably be wagging miles a minute as she tugged on his shirt.
"Let's keep him! He could be our little kid! C'mon!" She cooed like she was talking about some little fluffy thing she picked up off the street or something, causing Loran to nearly burn his hand on the stovetop as he turned to face her
"What do you mean, keep him!? He's even taller than me, and you're calling him little? He must be at least my age!"
"I don't hear a no." She continued to purr, taking Loran's right hand and pressing her cheek into it.
... How could he say no to her when she was like this?... But... "He's not a pet we can just choose to keep, Lil."
"Well no, but he's a young man who's going through trouble. I have a feeling that he's younger than he looks. You know kids, they're always looking older with every generation. If we just send him away, he could probably get hurt."
Lilian wasn't making a very convincing argument, but he still couldn't just flat out tell her no, pulling her in for a hug as he leaned on the kitchen counter. "I'll think about it. If nothing happens for a few days, then maybe he can stay here." Lilian pouted when Loran spoke, obviously unhappy with the answer he gave. Not surprising. So Loran stole a kiss to wipe the look from her face, letting their foreheads touch when he pulled away. "Now I'm gonna get him. You put the soup into bowls. I made enough for lunch, too."
Leaving Lilian to distribute the food, hoping that she didn't somehow set something on fire, Loran went to the guest room, gently knocking on the door twice before he opened the door. It hadn't been that long. Maybe five or so minutes... The guy was already asleep. Loran would have preferred to let him sleep, but he did say that he came out of the woods... He could sleep after eating, plus even while Lilian was happy letting a stranger live here, Loran wanted to make sure that he wouldn't attack Lilian in the night or make off with their money. Picking people off the street wasn't exactly a safe hobby, and they had been robbed before.
"Dai... Wake up, bud. Soup's on."

Daimonas didn't stir form his sleep while Lilian and Loran talked, happy to be able to rest peacefully for a little bit of time. He heard some his name, or rather his only nickname, and cracked open dark brown eye to look up at LORAN then let out a small groan as he began to sit up. "Thanks." He said once again in barely above a whisper, though his voice was starting to become a bit louder, easier to hear as he stood up. He walked with Loran into the kitchen and pulled his long hair back into a French knot, though it was a bit difficult with his hair still being messy and full of knots like his fur was. Then he sat down at the table with them.
And Lilian said that this guy was young. Yeah right. He wasn't quiet a behemoth, only a few inches taller than him, but he couldn't be some troubled teenager. He didn't let his judgement get the better of him, leading Daimonas to the table and taking his usual seat by Lilian, who was eagerly smiling up at them. Why she wasn't in the least bit intimidated by the two large men was lost on him.
"This might be pushing boundaries, but why were you naked?" Loran asked not long after sitting, getting a disapproving pout from Lil. Her tactic was always to let people around her settle before asking them stuff. Loran on the other hand was not so patient if he felt like the people he loved were in danger.
"And was there any place you were headed before we found you?" Loran continued, intensifying Lilian's pouty face which he promptly ignored.

Daimonas didn't seemed fazed by how direct Loran had become, he had actually expected more than he did being let inside with open arms like Lilian had done. He remember her confused look on her face when he talked about shifting forms and wasn't sure if it was common or how Loran would react to it. "Uh... That might be a bit harder to explain." He said calmly, trying to keep his voice leveled though that note of insecurity and still fear was there. "I am not sure if this is common or not, but I am able to shift my forms, though it is only form this one to a wolf and one other in between and since wolves don't wear clothes and my clothes don't follow with the change, I ended up naked when I shifted." He said, trying to hide the fact that he was scared about divulging this information. He cleared his throat, taking a moment to let that sink in before answering the other question. "No, I was not heading anywhere. I have been wandering aimlessly for a good two years now."
Daimonas sounded insane... When he confessed to believing that he could freely change into a wolf, Lilian's disapproving pout turned into a wide-eyed stare of surprise, her fork dropping from her hand to the table with a clang. Loran, on the other hand, was not so surprised. If anything, Loran expected the man to be a little nutty. Probably an escapee from a mental asylum. He wasn't buying it. And to have been running around like this for two years? It was a surprise that he wasn't on the verge of death. He was pretty thin. Not scrawny, but Loran didn't think he looked healthy for a man his size.
"Just how old are you, Dai?" Loran asked, only growing more skeptical about letting Daimonas live here. Even if it was jut temporary. "Any family nearby?"

Dai frowned at their reactions to this news, which showed him that this wasn't common in the least bit which did scare him a bit. Would they send me to a lab? Have me tested on again? I'll have to leave in the morning before they wake up. He thought, though it was his plan to being with, knowing that he didn't fit in human society and most humans despised his kind, even he was just a child or really, just a teenager. He was quite for a moment then spoke sheepishly. "I'm fifteen and no, I don't have any family around...that I know of." The last part was more of just a simple whisper, hoping that neither of them would catch that part. He didn't know a single thing about his family, he didn't even know what his birth name was or what his parents even looked like, he was taken at such a young age that the memories are gone and the only ones he has are of that night that he still regrets, hoping that he could find out some information form him and who he was suppose to be but it was a hopeless wish, knowing that it was far too late for that.
It was Loran's turn to be jaw-droppingly surprised, his eyes wide at hearing that his guy was really just a kid. "Fifteen? Seriously?" He repeated, more to let it sink in rather than to get confirmation. Lilian had to take some time to process the information, not making any moves to pick up her fork while Daimonas told them what little he could. It was obvious that he wasn't normal, the frown on his face making him look scared. While Loran tried to register the information handed to him, Lilian put the smile back on her face, reaching a hand out to Daimonas' shoulder.
"Well then, make yourself comfortable. This can be your home for as long as you need it." She spoke in such a sugary tone, and so quickly that Loran's reaction was delayed.
"Hold on! We just met him today. And he-"
"Needs our help. Who else do you think would take care of him? And don't even suggest that Jackal lady. She's a busy woman! Besides, I can look after him while you're at work. Just look at him!" Lilian cooed and argued with Loran, on her feet and already standing behind Daimonas, hands on his shoulders as she smiled. "You use to be just like him. No parents around, walking on the street all by yourself. Give it a few days! You'll see."
A long silence filled the air between them, Loran's eyes fixed on Dai. He was just so suspicious, but every time his eyes moved to meet Lilian's, she wore him down, causing Loran to sigh deeply to himself.
"Fine. He can stay. But he has to learn how to do housework or something. We can go out and buy him some stuff so he can take care of himself tomorrow. Dai, that room is yours as long as you stay here... And no shifting forms or making lots of noise. If the neighbours see who knows what they'd do..."
Like a child who just got a new toy, Lilian squeaked with joy, hugging Daimonas. Lilian never was very conscious of the personal boundaries of other people.
"Isn't that great? You get to stay! It'll be fun, you'll see!"

Daimonas was surprised by what was happening around him, his dark eyes widening at the fact they were letting him stay at all and he began to feel like if he did leave, it might end up badly either way though he couldn't stay here for very long either. He decided to give it a few days and see if they would end up getting tired of him at one point or another. He was surprised at how Lilian had said that he was just like Loran used to be, though he doubted that greatly, with whatever similarities it may seem to be there, he could tell that their lives were a far cry form the same.
He shook his head, still trying to grasp the full situation while Lilian still hugged him which caused his back to stiffen, not used to the physical contact like this before though he didn't push her off of him, not wanting to be rude. "I....uh... thank you." was all he could mange out of his voice, though it was still a shy voice. He knew that Loran didn't believe him or even trusted him but Lilian seemed hell bent on making sure to get this work, even though she didn't act like a very responsible person in her actions, but that was just compared to the other adults Daimonas had met. It seemed like a whirlwind to him at that moment, conflicted on what to do.

Lilian's smile shone like the sun. She was obviously happy, why Loran couldn't tell, but she was always just kind of like this. And this was her holding back on her affectionate type of personality.
"C'mon Lil. Give him a break. Not everyone likes hugs."
"It's fine! He'll get use to it."
Not an unexpected remark, but one that made Loran laugh all the same. Lilian kept her grip on Dai just a little longer before she sat down in her usual seat by the balcony door and started to drink her soup out of her spoon, still leaving her fork on the table. This girl, always just a little reckless. But Loran wouldn't have it any other way, picking up Lilian's fork and tossing it in the sink before cleaning up whatever mess that it made while Lilian continued to eat. "You're a slob, you know that." He chuckled, giving Lilian a few pats on the head before returning to his own meal, stabbing his own fork into the bits of chicken floating around in the broth.
Lil just smiled at Loran's quip, enjoying her meal with the new company. So this was going to be the start of a new lifestyle. No use in making it worse than it was. At least Daimonas didn't seem like a serial killer or something. Sure he might be a little unwell in the head there, but maybe with time, they could find out why and get him help.
"Well then. Welcome to the apartment, Dai. If there's anything you need, let me know. I doubt that Lil can do anything to help." He said, and just as expected, Lilian hit him in the shoulder.
"Rude!"
"You know I love you."
Somehow, still a typical meal despite the odd man child sitting across from Loran at the table.
Daimonas was surprised by this whole interaction that conspired though it didn't seem to spark any other emotions in him, but he then began to eat, realizing that through out this all, he hadn't touched his food until now. It was good, better than what he had eaten for the most part in his life. He thought of trying to learn more about human culture to fit better in but then pushed it away, knowing that this wouldn't last long. As cold as he seemed, he cared for every life and didn't want to hurt them so he would leave within a weeks time, he wanted to see what he could learn in case this same situation came again and he could handle it better. He just simply nodded at what Loran said though couldn't help but grin at the reaction Lilian had, not surprised in it seeing as he noticed in some ways, it wasn't uncommon for human females to act in such a manner to those they cared for or who they considered mates. For someone so young, he had matured much quicker than most males but that should not come as a surprise with the things he had since, but he lacked greatly in certain views of education and his social skills were absolutely terrible, as since with his lack of speech.
