Information for Newcomers
BranchWood Academy is a group developed and created for telling a story with your characters becoming a main piece to the storyline.
Due, To this unique factor of BranchWood Academy there are a few things that you should do to get yourself settled within the group before you join the main RP.
- Your characters must complete the BranchWood Academy Entrance Exam. This is an Exam that will be used to place your character within our ranks of BranchWood Academy. These ranks aren't here to limit your characters, instead these ranks will be used for future reference within BranchWood Academy.
The link placed here ----> Exam Forum <---- will take you to the location to complete this exam. These exams are done with your knowledge of the character.
- Characters should create an introduction found in this forum ---> Introduction Page <--- This will allow current members of BranchWood Academy to get a generalized feel of your character early on before RPing with them. This introduction section should be a quick description of what ever you think is important.
- BranchWood Academy also brings a unique feature along with it. This key feature is the fact that individuals will be partnered up with each other within Squads. To get a better understanding of squads visit this location. These squads will play a key roll within BranchWood Academy and allow for a unique environment for individuals to RP within. To either find a squad or start looking to gather people for your own use this forum.
- The last unique thing about BranchWood Academy is its possibility to create your own Side Stories that others can take part in. These side stories are unique and can be made how ever you wish. In fact possibly a good way to introduce a new character could be through a side story introducing your character to the environment known as BranchWood Academy. This unique section of the forum is located here.
- If you have any further questions dealing with this group please feel free to contact me or leave a question within the group forum location specified for such.

Out Of Character - Rules
- BranchWood Academy is an in character group in which we, as individuals, are to partake within the Academy known as BranchWood Academy. This being said all out of character posts will be deleted within the following forums.
All out of character discussions that would take place on these forums should be taken into Private Messaging. This is to avoid heavy clutter within the forums and allow for fluent story movement.
- All individuals in BranchWood Academy are to treat each other with the utmost respect. After all we are all here for the fun of Role playing.
If a problem does manage to emerge from the depths please feel free to Contact me. I will approach the subject and talk to the individual to avoid any further problems.

Anyone who is still active in the RPR Community, and liked BranchWood Academy should listen up. I have started a new group of BranchWood Academy from the beginning of the storyline. The entire world has been altered and changed since the original closing of BranchWood Academy.

After a long break I have decided it's time to start the main story line back up for BranchWood Academy.
Keep a lookout for BranchWood Academies Act 1-5 Arena Master's Calling and keep your eyes peeled for a few additional things that will be going on in the community in the next week.

As of right now I am asking everyone to try to get more people into the group. Currently we have 49 members. I am going to ask that everyone either puts in good words for the group or attempts to get people interested. The group will be moving into Act 1-4 sooner than expected.

In Character - Rules
- BranchWood Academy is a plot driven story which has a beginning and an end. Characters are allowed to create what are called sub plots. Now, in order for a sub plot to be created in the Main Story Advancement Forum. You must first contact and give me an idea of what is going to happen within this sub plot. The Sub plots of the main story will be used to give a unique element to the linear story line.
Any character who begins to create their own plot without consent will have a possibility of their topic being deleted. This rule is to allow me to maintain my position as the narrator and not be in the dark in my own story.
- Characters entering BranchWood Academy will have a limit placed upon them if they are found to be too strong. The idea of BranchWood Academy is to have character development over time with a wide group of individuals. If you already know all things inside and out it makes your character static. We want to have a unique environment where everyone grows together at there own pace. This information may change depending on your characters year and experiences. (These must be Discussed through PM)
- The story will have boundaries set and there shall be no breaking of the fourth wall. A joke here or there is fine. But, when references are made nonstop it tends to ruin the atmosphere of the story of which we should be emerged in.
- Characters will only be able to enter BranchWood Academy by the age of sixteen or older. This is a requirement to avoid things such as immaturity and keep a generalized population. This however does not apply to actual players of the characters.
- Characters of BranchWood Academy are required to play a role in the Squad system. They are not allowed to be lone wolves unless this is discussed early on. This rule is created to allow for more connections between players and allow for a more tight knit community.
