Moriah sat in her dorm room, still memorizing her spells. She hadn't yet got a roommate yet, which she was actually fine with. She decided to practice her wind manipulation. She closed her eyes and read the chant for it in her mind and felt a light breeze go through the room. She opened her eyes and sighed. "That is going to need more work on." She decided that she could work on it more later on, she only had to get use to reading the chant in her mind and then she could use it without a problem. She pulled the water form the glass setting on her desk and began to change it, using only a finger to move it around the room in the shape of a bird. These were one of the things she loved about having magical powers, she liked to have fun with it form time to time.
Zanzibar knocked on the door and leaned his head in "oh hello, may I come in?" he asked looking about the room "or would you prefer I go find my own?" he asked trying not to force himself in
Moriah looked at the door when she heard a knock and saw Zanzibar poke his head in. "Come in, I don't mind." She said, using her finger to guide the little water bird over to him. "What you think?" She said with a small smile.
Zanzibar closed the door slowly as he enter and maneuvered around the water bird "splendid, just wonderful" he said waking slowly over to the bed and sitting on it "how long have you been dabbling in the magic arts?"
Moriah moved the bird away and back over to the cup on her desk and then let the water fall into the cup as she broke the spell. "Since I was about three years old." She looked over at Zanzibar, giving a little shrug.
Zanzibar's eyes widened "wow, that's a long time" he said with surprise "so, you are very intelligent with spells, since you've had all that time to master them?" he asked
Moriah nodded. "Yeah. I have learned many different healing spells and how to manipulate water and fire while also being able to freeze water over. I'm still learning how to manipulate wind and earth."
Zanzibar nodded "I think with healing, water, and fire altogether are enough but you do what you want I won't try to stop you" he said laying down on his bed and taking off his hood
Moriah shrugged. "You never know what might happen, I hope to become stronger so I can help people more." She said with a small smile. She raised an eyebrow at him when he laid down on the other bed. "Are you my new roommate?" She asked.
Zanzibar nodded "this is where I was told to go, why?" he asked sitting upright on his bed
"I didn't think girls and boys could room together." She said with a shrug.
Zanzibar pointed to the door "if you want I can go apply for a different room" he said getting up from sitting on his bed
Moriah shook her head. "Nah, it is fine. I don't mind as long as you don't try stealing my bras." She said with a grin, clearly just messing with him.
Zaznibar shook his head, and his arms followed "I do not touch other's belongings, unless it is one of my siblings" he said sitting back on his bed
Moriah nodded. "Alright. Good. Also, I would try avoid waking me up in the morning or touching me when I can't see you. With both I will most likely grab your arm and twist it behind your back and try to break it if I don't realize it is you quick enough."
Zanzibar nodded "I prefer to avoid usage of that technique but it would seem necessary if it was an unknown" he put a hand to his chin "he do you ever do target practice?" he asked out of curiosity
Moriah shrugged. "Sometimes, I prefer to use guns and such that have a bit more power behind them and would be there more damage."
Zaznibar nodded "oh, so your a marksmen?" he asked his thoughts now scattered all across his brain
Moriah blinked in a bit of surprise, it took her a moment to realize what he had just said then shrugged. "I guess so."
