Alice, the young womem, the new girl of Branchwood Academy, sat along. Her back leaned up against the wall, sittings on the floor, with a black book on her lap. Alice stared down at the black book, "maybe if I just study, just to get ahead, just because I'm new, doesn't mean I can't get ahead." Alice said to herself , she opened the book and began to read, "but, maybe I shouldn't cram everything in my head so early..." Aloce said to herself, Alice stared at the book and sighed, dropping her head down on the opened book, covering her face. "Alice, why are you talking to herself...?" She said to herself, "have you lost it?" Aloce said, thinking out loud.
The wizard's finger traced over the columns of the books, reading over their titles thoroughly to find one he'd take as study worthy or interesting. It seemed the further he looked he less interesting they became and he was beginning to give up his search, and in hearing incoherent muttering, his head tilted. He froze where he stood, attempting to listen in although it really wasn't for him to listen. It was too soft to make out unfortunately and instead he pulled a book from the shelf, pushing the one behind it in order to see whose voice it may be of. Maybe someone he knew?

No. It wasn't. It happened to be a newly accepted student who he hasn't met quite yet. It was then that he could hear her last sentence almost clearly and he laughed softly. Every now and then he spoke to himself. Well.. Often if you want the truth. "You look to be at.. conflict with yourself," he spoke, loud enough for her ears to hear as he slid the book back in place before peeking out from behind the edge of the row of books.
A thin man smiles a bit from a distance as he hears the two talking, he walks forward to them, his wingtips gently touching the carpeted floor of the room. He looks to Alice, his emerald eyes scanning for a quick second, then resting on her face. He fixes his black double breasted peacoat before moving closer to them to present himself. His blood red scarf showing colour through most of his clothes. "If it makes you feel better, I do the same thing when I am alone." He spoke, feeling that was a bad way of introducing himself, he quickly thinks and clears his throat. "I apologize for that, it was rude of me to state me listening to you think aloud, but in here. Nothing is kept to ones self if they speak it." He gestures his hand over the area. He walks over to her and sits beside her, but not too close as to keep her personal space to her person. He smiles softly to her and looks at the book. "Magic?" He questions, but his face changes as he shook his head. "Enta morra (my god), I'm being terribly rude." He stands up and and turns to her, bowing softly; his right arm folds behind him and his left arm folds over his waist in front. "I am Sasuki, Akane Sasuki, it's a pleasure to meet you, Ms..." He awaits and answer patiently as he then looks to her.
Alice looked down at the book, lost in her world of confusion, what was she planning to do once she was in the academy, she had no idea. Alice was sitting down, looking at her book, until she heard someone saying something that was obviously directed towards he. Alice lifted her head and looked over at the man that was talking to her, she quickly noticed that he was talking about her frustrated look and the fact she was talking to herself.

Alice stared at the man and looked down at her book. Maybe I shouldn't of drawn attention to myself by yelling out loud... Alice thought, she looked back up at the man, she never met this guy in her life, but would be rude just to sit there and say nothing. Alice stared at the man and forced a small smile on her face, "yeah..." she said shyly. Tilting her head over at the rows of books on the shelves.

Alice stared at the man, still trying to show her small smile until someone not to far from where she was jumped in out of nowhere. Alice raised a eyebrow, at the stranger, blurting that out of the blue didn't make her feel better at all, but at least this didn't show she was crazy. Alice hesitated slightly seeing the guy was walking in his direction, she was unsure if she should get up and leave after that random introduction. Alice decided not to move but scooted over slightly, to give him room to sit. Alice shook her head, when he sat down next to her, when he said how rude he was being. "It's fine!" She said with a small smile "I'm Alice" she said introducing herself "nice to meet you. .."
Steam bursted from his left hand as he lifted up and gestured it to her. His pail and nimble fingers were formed in a careless and nonchalant form of a gesture, hoping that maybe a handshake was not too much to ask, if not then it wasn't a bother. His smile was never moved, but with him now being closer to her, she could see long sharp fangs hidden under his light red lips. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Alice." He chuckles to himself as he forces a comment, "so what wonderland did you come from?" He asked, knowing the joke was silly and corny, he felt the need to be cheerful to newcomers.
Alice continued to smile slightly at Sasuki, she glanced over at his head that he let out to her to shake she lifted up hee hand and moved over towards him to shake his hand. She looked up at his friendly-like smile, that revealed his slightly shocking sharp fangs under his lips. Alice moved her hand away slowly she was having second thoughts if she should shake his hand or not. "Well, I certainty didn't climb out of rabbit hole lr anything..." joking a little and chuckling back.
He smiles a bit and straightens a slightly, laughing softly to her joke. "Well, I am glad that you are here. Welsome to Branchwood." He spoke with a kindly manor, his smile never fading as he spoke the words. He then sat down again next to her-again, keeping space-and looked over at the book. "Sooo.." He spoke with a nonchalant comment. "Would it be too much to ask what the book is?" He questioned, he was the last person to try an make others uncomfortable, and he tried his best too keep that upheld.
Alice bowed her head slightly and smiled "thank you for showing me such kindness to a new student who has no idea what she's doing" She smiled at Sasuki and looked back down when he asked about the book she was reading from earlier. "Uh... it's a just notes that I was just glancing at." Alice said "my Sensai gave it to me."
He nods, a soft "oh" now emitting from his parted lips. "Well, it's nice that he gave those to you. I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but: hold that dearly, things others gave you for the sake of you is important." He lifts left arm up and reveals a wristlet full of many charms, some of them full of ashes while some were solid. The sound of the, softly jingling was made as he lifted and put his arm down. He leaned back in his seat and looked forward, trying to avert his gaze at the other man in the room, finding it slightly difficult, he looked back to Alice. "So what did you come here for, luv?" He asked, his tone growing from slightly sheepish to a calm and kind tone as before.
Alice listened to Sasuki's words pf wisdom and listened very closely trying her best to understand what he was saying, once he was done she nodded her head understanding. "Very true" she said with a smile, she looked at Sasuki as he raised his arm revealing the charms on his wrist and then back at her book. This book isn't as helpful as Sensai Sumi said Alice thought to her as she traced her pointing finger down the book. Over. She stared down at her book and listened what Sasuki was saying while she looked down at her book. "Luv?" She questioned tilting her head.
He chuckles softly and smiles a bit embarrassed. "I do that still? I haven't noticed. It mainly a term in Britain, it means 'dear', like if I said, 'how are you, luv?'-Or 'love' is the real pronunciation-I would mean, 'how are you dear?' Meaning it as a friendly manner." He chuckles again and shakes his head a bit, "I apologize, I used that for so long I forgot that I still say it," he crosses his legs at the knee as he then relaxes, giving one final chuckle before he kills it, as to not sound awkward and stupid for laughing at his own mistake.
Alice listened to Sasuki's explanation on why he said that, "sorry, I never head anyone use that term when speaking to someone before." Alice said, she decided to answer the question he asked her before. "The reason I joined Branchwood is becajse..." Alice paused to give her time to think.
He smiled a bit and nodded, knowing there was a reason, or maybe not, but she was here and that was the only part he knew. He relaxed in his seat to allow her to think. He, too gave a moment of thought before he was about ready to continue, but after a second, he had no worries on what to say next if there was any more conversation. He looked over to her with a patient look in his eye, flames were really what was flowing in his pupils, giving a still and stiff movement, as if the flames were attempting to stay still as well as he waited.
