Mikhael is a northerner, Born in the mountains of Canada, beyond much civilization, he comes from a line of Winter-mage's. Often in centuries gone by, members of his family have been mistaken for Jack Frost or other such legendary characters. But they are in fact human, living ordinary lives, except for their unnatural disposition for surviving the cold. Mikhael's parents spent much of their time as part of a high altitude rescue team, finding lost hikers and skiers, and on occasion, removing threats of a magical nature. Mikhael however, is a bit different. Having discovered that he is not just able to manipulate ice and snow, but also has a talent for other forms of magic. As such, with his parent's blessing, he has left home to find a teacher. Someone to instruct him in his newfound abilities.
