Introduction: In our world what we perceive to be true is scrambled by lies and false propaganda. But, what happens when one individual is to stand out from this crowd and participate against these scrambled thoughts? Would this man be able to show us a truth which could not be imagined elsewhere? Or would fate close in on this man and end his futile efforts. For where we stand today a man is to act out against such a cause as this. But, the information which would come out of such an act is unfathomable.

The outcome of an event such as this has many endings. Many endings of which could spell out a new outlook on life as we know it here at BranchWood Academy. But, just what information is to be hidden here within the walls of BranchWood Academy? What information could be so crucial, that it is to tip the balance as we know it? In the end, all we have to do is look forward and soon enough the answer shall be shown. For in the life, we live in the walls of BranchWood Academy is our own and as such we shall shape how our story shall be told.

(Current day) The crack of dawn is among us but, the daylight has been smothered by dark clouds which bring an enormous storm. The clouds were as black as the great abyss, empty and forever foreboding. The individuals of the school who may be light sleepers would find themselves unable to sleep. The constant winds pounding against the walls of the Academy ferociously. The unending howling of wind traversing the Academy grounds. A day such as this was to be thought of as a day to relax. A day where individuals would have time to recuperate and recover from constant work of the Academy. Through the windows of the Academy, fierce flashes illuminated the rooms as the lightning was painted across the sky devoid of light. The intense sound of cracking filled the halls as the thunder sounded in the distance. A storm such as this was a rare occasion, but these kinds of storms are those which should be feared.

The electricity of the Academy had been shorted due to the storm and it was currently running on the backup magic core. The core was able to provide power to those places which proved to be most important. Among these places were the Cafeteria, Library, Infirmary, The Dormitory Lobby, Some hallway lights, and other select rooms of importance. The Academy seemed to be quite lively this early in the morning. Much more individuals were out and about talking to one another. Obviously a day off such as this one was never taken lightly by the students. It was a day which almost seemed like a miracle at times. Among the students were numerous teachers who had been selected by the Head Master to watch over the students. It seemed that the remainder of students were spending there time within the lobby.
Moriah had woken up to the sound of the wind howled outside her dorm. She tried to go back to sleep but knew it was impossible for her with the noise outside. She quickly put on a pair of sweatpants over her shorts and threw a pillow at Zanzibar to wake him up. "Looks like something has happened." She said as she grabbed her black hoodie and stepped outside her dorm room to see if anyone else was awake as well and was not surprised to see so.

After looking around a bit form the doorway of her dorm, she soon spotted a teacher and went up to him. "Excuse me, sir. But can you tell me as to what has happened?" She noticed that it did feel eerie to her how only some of the lights were on in the hallways and none of the dorms lights were on, though the rest of the students seemed unfazed by this strange turn of events.
Zanzibar threw the pillow off of his bed and sat straight up rubbing an eye "what? no it's just a storm" he said and got out of his bed grabbing his normal outfit to wear over his black under suit "Wait, what is bugging you?" he said grabbing Moriah's shoulder and twisting her around then letting her shoulder go to set his arm at his side "What is the matter?" he asked
Moriah was surprised that Zanzibar had followed her out of the dorm, she felt like this wasn't a storm, something felt deeply off to her. She thought for second on how to put this to him. "Just... something is wrong. I can't tell what, but it all feels off." She brushed her bangs back over her head, revealing the dark scar over her left eye but she wasn't paying attention to that. She then shook her head, her bangs falling back in place then let out a heavy sigh.
Blizzard stretches and yawns walking out of his dorm room to the commotion outside. "Whoa you two are up early!" he looked over to realize it was Moriah and Zanzibar. But, soon enough Blizzard realized that everyone was up. "What on earth did I miss while I was asleep?" he wandered over to the two of them. "You alright Moriah? Zanzibar what happened? He blinked as he noticed the scar on her eye. He thought about mentioning it but perhaps that would be better kept for another time. The air had gained a slight chill with Blizzard entering the hall. He kept it at a down low for everyone though.
A man entered the hall from an outside entrance. The storm raged on, yet not a single raindrop rested on his being. The man slowly opened his eyes and inspected the room. Students and teachers alike congregated together, however, the level of interest contrasted between the two parties. The man adjusted his deep gaze to a group of students talking among themselves; a group, the likes of which, he would have shrugged off. No, this one was different.

What first caught his attention was the source of the evident chill in the room. He kept a special attention on the young man for a moment, looking deep into his eyes. However, he did not find what he was looking for, and he eased back the wall, anxiety vanishing. There he stood now, watching the group closely, arms folded across his chest, missing the whistle of the storm's winds.
Moriah looked over at Blizzard when he came over to them, blinking a couple times before realizing what he had said. "Yes, I am fine. It seems to be a bit of a storm outside that woke up most of the school. Though it seems to be like something more, unnatural maybe..." She said, she looked over at the window, surprised to see it hadn't broken yet form the howling winds. She had trailed off, concern in her eyes and it looked to have fear in them as well, a rare sight for a witch like Moriah. She hadn't noticed the man staring at them, she didn't seem to really pay attention to anyone in the room.
"You know I could see what you mean about this storm.. Although unlike you I don't have any feeling as for magic, have you felt anything of the sort dealing with this storm? Also don't worry so much Moriah, if anything were to happen I'm sure we could handle it." Blizzard looked around at everyone in the area and let out a long drawn out sigh. "I can tell you I've been through much worse then a storm like this one. So try not to put to much thought into it alright? If it is something that is unnatural we'd want you to be in right state of mind after all." Blizzard let off a slight smile before he noticed the man across the way from him. Who had been looking at him directly for a few moments. "Give me a moment if you'll excuse me." he walked away from Moriah and Zanzibar to approach the man.
A man had walked out tot he hall and fixed the blood red scarf that wrapped around his neck. He looked around to see many people talking and walking around, he paid no attention to the people in the hall, mainly due to lack of care. He noticed a group he was familiar with though, walking over to the group with the sound of his wingtips tapping the ground. He smiled a bit comfortably to them ass he walked up to Zanzibar, patting his shoulder as he entered the trio's personal space. He felt that it was okay to do considering he was friends with the three of them, he just hoped that this didn't push any boundaries.

"How is everything?" He questioned the three, his emerald eyes looking over the three with his sharp toothed smile being shown through the lights. "How did everyone sleep?" Was his next question, knowing it was early and was probably a good thing to ask, though he expected everyone to replay with the same thing, perhaps he will be proven wrong.
Zanzibar looked back to Sasuki and greeted him with a handshake "Everything is odd around here, first the storm freaks my partner out and now everyone else is freaked out, wish I could say otherwise but its starting to freak me out as well" he said folding both arms across his chest "I don't exactly see a difference in this storm but it may be under the surface that's bothering everyone"
Moriah looked over at Sasuki and gave a small nod as a greeting. "Everything could be better. I slept fine until the wind woke me." She said then looked over at Zanzibar. "Born magic-user are the one's who could tell, I guess. The wind out there is strong enough to shatter glass yet all the windows around us are intact. It all just feels unnatural, like someone powerful is creating this storm." Moriah had quickly brought her hand to her mouth and bite down on the tip of the nail on her thumb, trying to figure out this storm.
He smiled a bit and took Zanzibar's handshake with respect, then listened to the both of them speak, it was true he was feeling a bit of power behind the winds and stormed, but cared not as much to let it get to him considering the people of this school were strong enough to make a new force. He looked to Moriah with a smile and walked over to her, but not too close, he didn't want to disturb her by putting an arm on her shoulder and talking to her like some kind of loved one, there were many reasons not to do that in the first place.

"I wouldn't worry that much, hun." He spoke to her softly, not out of lust or seducing, mainly out of comfort. He knew she was uneasy by this storm and so were the rest of the people here, so comfort would probably help out with the situation. "Besides," he commented, "the storm season is coming up real quick and it would not surprise me if storms were strong here. We've had one like this before here anyways." He smiled and patted her gently on the shoulder now, feeling like comfort was still something needed to be reached at. "Why don't we relax and eat first, it is morning and-" he turned his head and pulled out his watch, opening it and revealing the twisted and crooked arms of the watch, along with a blonde woman with bright blue eyes and a bright smile, she looked no older than 16. "5:49" he commented and placed his watch back, "might as well eat and kill tome while the sun attempts to wake up." He spoke with a bit of laughter, looking at Zanzibar and back to her.
Blake stretched as he walked out of the dorm room. "God damn, Talk about trying to sleep.. Impossible…" He sighed and looked around seeing a few individuals he knew. He walked over to Sasuki before seeing Moriah and Zanzibar. "You guys to huh? Speak of a dangerous storm of all things. But, I must say this storm is intriguing, I like it quite a lot honestly." Blake had a thought in the very deep part in his mind that the storm might be conjured in some way. Blake isn't exactly one of the individuals who had a strong sense of magic. But, Indeed he did have magic within his veins. Normally magicians could use their magic but, Blake has no possible way to do anything. This was just due to the fact that he never used his magic.

"Hmmm? Did I miss something?" he looked at the three of them who seemed to be deep within a conversation of some sort. Meanwhile he also noticed Blizzard who broke off from the group to walk over to some man who he hadn't seen before.
The man continued to watch Blizzard as he approached. It was an ungodly stare, one strong enough to look right through you and continue till nothing stood in it's path. Blizzard was on him now, the cold more powerful then before. "You noticed me looking. I had mistaken you for another.", he said, shifting his gaze to the group and back to cold that erected itself before him. The man knew what they wanted to know; his sight wasn't needed to discover that. "You want to know what's going on. I could tell you."
Moriah sighed, seeing as most people here didn't seem too worried about the strangeness of this storm. She hadn't been here long and only knew probably a hand full of people compared to how many there were. "I guess so. I hope they fix the lighting though, it makes this place look like a set for a horror film, before you know it, we'll have Jeff the Killer or Smiley after us." She said with a shrug, she did at least hoped someone here would get the references she just made, if not, then she was going to have to quit on finding people who kept in touch with modern society, more so on the simpler things like horror stories and movies. She looked over at the guy that seem to just have join, though she didn't really know him so she assumed either Sasuki or Zanzibar knew him. "That is what we were just talking about. There was really nothing to be missed, best go ahead with Sasuki's idea and go get some food."
Sasuki had laughed softly to her comment and smiled, "next thing we know, we'll have the smiling dog hiding in the halls looking up at the cameras for all to see." He spoke with suppressed laughter and after his statement, laughed a bit more. He put his hands up and spread them open as if he was giving some silly slogan while mouthing, 'spread the word' and putting his hands back down. He noticed Blake and smiled a bit to him as he commented with curiosity. He smiled a bit more and looked over to Blake, "oh, goodness, you cam't get a break." He joked as he looked Blake up and down, removing his hand off of Moriah in the process of doing so, he didn't want to seem to comfortable holding her like that. He walked over and looked out the window near them, but shrugged it off. "I agree that this in interesting, but I would not leave the indoors until it settles." He spoke softly. After Moriah had stated the idea of eating, he looked over the three and the to the hall, "shall we get a move on?" He questioned.

"Blake," he quickly inputted, "you want to join?" He asked him with a soft smile.
Blake raised his eye brows at the idea of this being a horror movie. "Well, If no one else were to step up to make it one… I sure as hell could try!" He let out a slight laugh as he tried to put some generalized dark humor. "So, Everyone was just thinking about food then? Hard to believe it's so early, I couldn't eat yet… I'm hardly even awake yet." he let out a small sigh and noticed that his hair was sticking up in all sorts of places. He tried to use his hand to push down the hairs that were sticking up but it was no use. "Man, I shouldn't have to deal with stuff like this."

"Sure, I see no reason not to join you guys. Though as I said don't expect me to eat anything this early in the morning… This is probably the only day I tried to sleep in awhile and this damn storm keeps me up. I have the best luck." He laughed to himself and looked at everyone again.
"Mistook me for another? Another of what kind? I'm not exactly a common occurrence after all… Hmmm?" he looked at the man as he spoke out these words. "I can see that you aren't saying everything, But very well I'm willing to listen to what you have to say. I'm quite interested in what you have to say. Perhaps you should say it for all of us to hear, Or would you prefer to tell myself instead." He looked back at the man noticing that his stare felt empty and had qualities to it that generally wouldn't be noticed. He took one last glance back at the group realizing that a few new individuals were in the group than previously. "Seems you will be talking to a few more than you would have previously."
Moriah laughed at Sasuki's comment. "Looks like not all of modern society has went over your head, Sasuki. There might be hope for you yet." She joked, having a grin tipping up one corner of her lips. She was becoming more relaxed and her grin grew at Blake's comment. "If this was a place full of the cruelest of criminals, you could count me in on that." She was glad to be more relaxed now, though the storm still left her a bit on edge at the time being she looked over at Blizzard, seeing as they were about to leave, she called out, "Hey, Blizzard, care you join us in the Cafeteria." Seeing as most everyone in the school was up, she didn't think anyone would honestly care that she had called out to a friend.
He continues his attention to Blizzard as the young women calls from across the hall. At the sound of her request, a smile creeps across his face. "You are all so interested in the Headmaster. I see this in you all. I can see a lot of things.", he said, slowly leaning his face toward Blizzard's. "Go enjoy your meal.", he whispered. "Have you and your friends meet me in room 456 this afternoon. You will learn much, I can assure you." The man leaned back against the wall once more, folding his arms. "I know you will be there. You've already decided."
