Rules

  • Rules: Quite like your basic roleplay rules; but there are quite some changes to accommodate for the fact this world should be as realistically alive as real-life.
    • God Modding: There shall be none of this. Especially since Magic and its applications are taboo, even if having such a large shaping aspect to the world of Regnum. This means there shall be no: Forced Actions, Automatic Collisions with any other played Character (NPC's are randomly generated and thus could be slain in quick succession granted they are YOUR NPC) and no world-ending or devastating spells, attacks, or movements.
    • Class Progression: While some of the more D&D-Styled roleplays have a bit more focus on the whole class system, Regnum has its own requirements that shall be followed if one wishes to make their character stronger. All posts shall be counted as a single action to farm for Experience, gain new items and even meet new friends. Essentially you can have a single post of your character exploring the wildlands and it can still account for something of IC-value and prompt some class-change. Every 100 Posts will equal a month of In-Game Time. Meaning that you are one step closer. 1200 posts = 1 year, which will be the first progress of advancements. Although that's one of the ways to change your class it is not the only way. 20 of your own Posts, in a specific Vocation, Specialization, or School of Profession will generate an early class change at the cost of grand socialization and journeying.
    • Weaponry: You start off with any 2 weapons you want, but it's limited to being wooden or steel construct. Even if you're intending on becoming a Shard-Master, you must still begin with the basics.
    • Politeness , Tolerance , Love , Peace: As roleplayers we've all encountered our own bits and pieces of hate, disrespect, and sheer ignorance. I wish to point out that anyone who intentionally hurts another person's feelings for their OWN personal gain shall be revoked from the roleplay. It's one thing to do it to a character, another to do it to the player.
