In light of a recent Open RP that made mention of sexual assault, we've decided to disallow mention of the word rape on the forums. To be clear, no one from that Open RP is in trouble. It merely served to start a dialogue amongst staff. This is a carryover rule from Furcadia, and also something that RPR disallows on its main forums.
NV's continuity is one that universally allows for violence, gore, and conflict in public spaces as part of the setting, but we feel that sexual assault goes above and beyond that allowance. It strays into territory that can be deeply upsetting to some of our members, and there's no need for it on the forums. You're more than welcome to use this word and this theme in your private RP, but Open RP isn't the space for it.
