It happens sometimes; you start an Open RP, but the timing's not quite right, and it takes a while for people to be around to post in. The Senior Staff team sat down and discussed how long is too long when waiting on replies, and here's the conclusion we came to:
This rule is primarily aimed at threads which get no replies, but also applies to those who've got RP going. Because most open RPs are generally 3-4 people, two hours covers four rounds of missed posts before the clock runs out. Also, as mentioned above, a host can bump it if need be.
- If a thread has had no responses for two hours, it will be marked closed by Senior Staff.
Hosts may extend this by bumping the thread no more than once per hour to indicate that it is still active.
