We're back babey!
So now that we're all settled into our new home, it's time to get down to business. You may have noticed that the continuity information here on the site is a little on the sparse side. I'll be working with the staff (specifically my amazing devs) to flesh that out and give those who don't have a long history in our community more information to work with. If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to get your bearing, don't sweat it! NV is ostensibly your average modern city, so you don't need to know a ton about the goings on to dip your toes in and meet people in RP. Real world current events are in play here.
With new folks come new RP preferences, and I wanted to get a feel for what sort of things people would be most interested in writing. I'm currently engaged in some important IRL business, so we won't be having a major group plot right off the bat, but I'd like to do at least a few per year.
In the past, we've had major weather events, conventions, spooky dreams/premonitions, ghost hunting adventures, parties, and more. I want to know a few things: What kind of one-off events appeal to you, and what kind of long-term plots would be fun?

Even though I'm basically a ghost myself I thought I'd toss in my two cents. I always enjoyed our Gatorcon events, and the paranormal ones, where we had the massive bubble over the city basically and everything was chaos. The ghost ships in the swamp, the people seeming to be infected, etc. The mass plots where everyone could contribute/respond to it, feel a part of the story.
I definitely want to do some things where we can have a master thread where people post updates of what's going on with their characters during the plot, etc. It worked really well for the tornado plot and a few others in the past, and it helps people who don't RP during peak hours to remain involved.
I'm down for all of those - good time things like parties, community events, ghost hunting adventures, etc. Also bad time events like natural disasters, some super gone rouge and taking out some people, etc! 
Given that NV is located in Louisiana, last time I checked, and I have a relatively new, underused character who is ostensibly a redneck who fled Savannah with nothing but a jacked up truck, some cash, and a bag of guns--I was thinking some motorsport would be a welcome addition and an entertaining representation of the Southern culture.
