Night, is the hour when terrible things roam freely. During day, evil is exposed for what it is, and withers in it's harshness when the burning hand of the law grips it by the throat.

Bare feet. It's not even a debate. Better to feel the warm earth beneath than force yourself into hobbling pain. More people would do better if they were to give themselves a connection back to the living earth.
