Our continuity follows closely to the primary '616' timeline used throughout Marvel Comics. Though we don't follow that continuity to the letter, that is our basic starting point in terms of canon characters.
If you are applying to RP a character that is already established in Marvel continuity, it is required that you;
a) Make it known to a member of the moderation team that you wish to RP the character.
b) Check to ensure the character isn't already being RPed by another member.
c) Have prior knowledge of the character. We aren't expecting you to know everything there is to know about a character, but we expect you to at least have a decent grasp on the character you are applying for, as well as an understanding of their powers and limitations.
d) Be willing to accept previous development of your character if that character has previously been RPed within the continuity.
e) Understand that all canon characters closely resemble their mainline earth-616 Marvel comics versions. We do not accept characters based on X-Men Evolution, Marvels 'The Avengers' film series, etc.
All Canon characters will undergo a trial period upon acceptance. Much like the regular trial period we place some apps on, your character will be unable to cause any damage to the dream ICly, and will have no lasting effect on the continuity. During the trial, a RP shall be arranged with a member or members of the moderation team, in order for us to get a decent look at the character and how you RP them. After the trial period, assuming the moderation team is happy, you will then be free to RP your chosen character as though it was your own!
The moderation team reserves the right to outright deny certain characters at our discretion, for reasons purely based on being fair to the dream as a whole. Chances are characters such as Hulk, Thor or Wolverine are unlikely to be considered, though we may make exceptions based entirely on the reasoning behind these characters appearing in the city, and whether or not it works in terms of current plots and events.
