  • Species

Each of the 12 main islands are rumored to have their own native species, though only two have so far been confirmed and evidence of habitation without visual confirmation of individuals has only been documented on three others.

The Sisters: A race of savage warrior elves whose dna has lost the ability to produce the Y chromosome. Men enter their territory at your own risk. It is exceedingly difficult to moderate and uphold slavery laws with this barbaric society, and the Sisters enjoy tormenting their stock. Their island, Rarotonga, receives the least rainfall of all the islands, and the environment can be likened to an african savannah. There is a small population of escaped female slaves from other islands and the mainlands who claim the Sisters protection.

There is a mining community of anthromorphic mountain goats living among the cold peaks of the tallest mountains in the archipelago. Their main export is iron, copper and tin.
  • Environment

Safirdrang Island is actually a massive archipelago, comprised mainly of twelve large main islands with a slew of atolls, islets and smaller islands. Weather is very consistent, with only minor changes in temperature throughout the year. There are only 2 seasons: summer from May to October and winter from November to April. The average daytime summer temperature at sea level is 85º F and the average daytime winter temperature is 78º F. Temperatures at night are approximately 10º F. lower. The islands with higher peaks commonly receive snowfall in winter.

The islands have diverse micro-environments, each with its own unique weather, plants, and animals. As a result of the shielding effect of volcanic mountains and the differences in weather found at various elevations, you can find tropical rain forests, cool alpine regions, arid deserts, and sunny beaches - all within the span of just a few miles. The northernmost tip of the archipelago stretches into arctic waters, while the majority is fortunate enough to lie along the equatorial line.
