Like with most recruits, the building that Lorcan Furey had been instructed to go to blended smoothly into the surrounding city, and aside from the metal detectors at the entrance (perhaps the most obvious feature of the building's security), the lobby was no less typical. The area was pleasantly structured and decorated, though nothing extravagant. Reasonably convincing fake plants dotted the area, soft, dark vinyl covered the few seats provided, and there was even a water stand and a coffee machine with small cups provided.
Two of the three people at the front desk were in security uniform; the third was a young woman who smiled warmly whenever anyone came in.
