The Net

The Net will be an organized group composed of in-character forums and maps to assist in visualizing the borders of the new world. Beacon United owns and operates a continental internet network. New technology in both servers and data transfer allows for rapid to near-instantaneous download and connection speeds. Many old-world webpages (only those that are screened by Beacon first) are accessible through the Net, and characters can interact with each other from across roleplays.

Eventually, hosted group roleplays will be established to introduce characters to each other and to have them take part in major events. Often, more minor characters will also be engaged in 1v1 roleplays, and the major events in the group roleplay will have tangible effects on the others.
