The rules should be very simple; please follow them.
The roleplay is set in the fictional town of Silent Hill; and to make sure anyone who enters won't cause too much mayhem that may cause problems for orther roleplayers, the following rules are in effect.- Do not godmod.
- Do not roleplay a canon character if we already have a person playing them. Exceptions are named monsters that there are more than one of.
- If your character is not human, you can bet that entering Silent Hill will be much more difficult; as will surviving.
- Anyone who enters Silent Hill that has supernatural or otherwise abnormal powers may not be able to use them correctly due to the town having almost inflicted some sort of pressure upon them.This means that powers may not work or may kill the user.
- The fog is the representation of the spiritual power in Silent Hill; subsequently, the strange things that happen do not exceed the reach of the fog unless canonically connected in some way, shape, or form.
- It should be noted that since powers will not work, machines will often malfunction.
- If your character fears something, was traumatized in the past, feels guilt for something, or anything of the like; it WILL manifest in some way.
