If you are staff and are Unsure how to handle a situation either ICly or OOCly with a patron or another staff member, please ask a higher up- A Steward or Owner for advise on the situation, or ask them to handle it for you if it becomes too much for you.
Please be sure to Avoid all OOC-IC nonsense as a staff member, and please respect other players (and their RP partners in an RP)… Do not try to steal or dissuade people from Rping with who they are Rping with in favor of you or otherwise, as it can be seen as incredibly rude and can be insulting to all the players involved. TSC is a drama-free zone, not a gossip breeding ground.
As staff, we need to be the sort of people that other people want to be around if we want people to come here. We need to be friendly, inviting people who are not afraid to RP when given the opportunity. Naturally, we will never ask you to RP with anyone you have on ignore.
Avalability:
We understand that everyone has lives and differing schedules, and that not everyone can be around all the time. However, if you apply for a job, please be prepared to devote a fair amoutn of time to that job, including three months of trial period to see if you are compatible and dedicated. Please be able to be around a few times a week if you can, actively, not just logging in and idling. If this does not work for you, discuss it with who ever does your interview, and be sure they know of your avalability.
If you need to leave for a certain amount of time (from furc or your position or otherwise) please discuss it with a higher up before you leave, to see if your job will be saved for you or not.
Otherwise, if you are gone for a fair amount of time with no word to anyone, you will be assumed inactive and removed from staff.
Troublemakers/Banishments:
The only people- and I do mean only- people in the dream who have any right to banish anyone from the dream is Nirainia Rose, and dream her alone.
Not staff/other stewards, nor anyone below them, so if someone is causing trouble in the dream or continued complains are made about a person, that issue will be handled by the higher ups, but Nirinia have the final say in whether that person stays or goes in terms of banishment, after hearing the sides and seeing evidence of course.
End:
This is the CoC, you are expected to have read this and know this before you ever apply to be staff, and during your employment as well. This document may be subject to change as the staff see fit to the need for it, so please be sure to check it if you are told it’s [/u]changed.
