The stations was reserved to those who were travelling to AAavos. Everybody knew where they were heading. Some even had hopes of what it will bring to the. But no one knew if they would ever be coming back again . . .
Leinad stood at almost the end of the line. He sighted loudly and and looked around the room; admiring the brass décor pretty much everywhere. The floor, the walls and even the ceiling were carved from this material. Sometimes the design was sophisticated and beautiful, whereas some other times it seemed as if it was practical and simplistic. Also, Leinad stared at the many different sort of people that could be found in this station. Big and small creatures. Some had fur, other scales or feathers. There were humanoids too, plenty of them. However, most of them looked upper-upper class. Perhaps some of the investors that made this project a possibility? All the wolf knew, along with those willing to come, was that they were going to land in a safe-zone called "The Home Base"
The sound of individuals mingling was a bit deafening, but at least it showed that there was plenty of activity in the area. So many individuals gathered in one place, at a given hour. . .

The sound of individuals mingling was a bit deafening, but at least it showed that there was plenty of activity in the area. So many individuals gathered in one place, at a given hour. . .
An individual watched from a distance in hiding as the newcomers came into play. Anyone that entered the Home Base was a potential target. Every one of them were part of the game. The objective of the game? To acquire their belongings. Why? That was a question the figure wasn't willing to share. Thieves aren't known for sharing their identity or anything about it. In fact, the closer they were to a shadow, or just another figure in the crowd, the better.
The figure wore a pair of dusty old clothes covered with a black cloak paired with a hood that conveniently covered the figure's head and eyes at all times. At least, that's what the few individuals that see the hooded person every now and then say. A muzzle that protruded out from the front of the hood meant the thief was of a more feral-like nature. And if that wasn't obvious enough, a huge, bushy, striped tail hanging behind the individual clarified that fact. One couldn't blame him/her for looking so shady all the time. For the amount of time it spent in public, the costume worked almost flawlessly
The cloaked person picked out a few specific pawns from the crowd. Mainly those of wealth. A human, wearing fancy clothes with plenty of pockets. A woman that looked of equal wealth, paired with a husband. The thief would have to catch her when the man was away or distracted. And a wolf that looked... Middle class? He looked kind of adventurous. Maybe he had loot with a good amount of value set to it...
The three didn't even manage to take ten steps before the robed figure was already there. 'Bumping' into the man, the thief slipped a greedy finger into his back pocket and took out something metallic that he/she would later find out was a golden pocket-watch with his name, "Charles Malone" engraved on it, and quietly shoved it into his/her own pocket. As planned, the thief waited for the husband to reach over and take a magazine of some sort before sneaking from the shadows and slipping away with a few coins from the woman's purse's unzipped front pocket. Such carelessness... One should know better. Especially when it was rush hour at the station.
The wolf was next. This one seemed dangerous. He was big. But something about him just captivated ones attention. The subtle, cloaked figure followed behind him as quietly as possible, waiting for the most opportune moment to just reach over for his trouser's pocket an-"Oof!"
Someone bumped into the small hooded figure, pushing the individual into the larger male. The muzzle in the hood face-planted hard into his back, easily grabbing his attention. The extended hand was forced into his back pocket, making it clear why the thief was positioned behind him... And just to make matters worse, those coins stolen from the woman earlier? As well as that pocket-watch? Weren't in the cloak's pockets anymore. They were scattered over the floor in plain sight, clarifying the figure's 'unsophisticated' hobby...
"D-damnit..." She said, freezing in place...

The station was busting with the oddest array of people that Gouvx has seen all in one place, many of the planets she'd been to thus far had been mostly inhabited by whatever flavor of local was most common on that planet, with very little leeway for the odd planet hoping thrill seeker or adventurer. This crowd was quite different. It was comprised of so many varying individuals, each with their own skills and motivations for deciding to travel to Aavos, none knowing if they would ever return.
Gouvx was not deterred by such talk. Her quest to deepen her enlightenment had led her here, and so whether it would render her stuck, or miserable, or dead, she would take this journey, having faith that her gods would see her through it.
For the moment she stood back from the ever growing line, mesmerized in her people watching, taking in the beautiful, strange faces, and more so the often complicated and eloquent languages of the foreigners as they passed by where she stood in favor of finding the correct places they needed to be.
Gouvx herself rather stood out in this crowd, people of her species were well known in most corners of the galaxy, but it was rare to find one who's quest for enlightenment had led them off their home planet. Regardless of that, she could hardly be mistaken for any other species, her hairless body, vibrant blue skin, and colourful stomatas littering various parts of her body were clear signs of this. She was perhaps not as wealthy as some of the other visitors here, she had only the clothes on her back, and a small canvas bag with held her meager wordly possessions. Her robe was simple and grey, and she wore no jewelry or adornment. She carried a parasol which was in rough condition, but served to keep the sun spilling through the glass from touching her skin, which would have led to unseemly behaviour whilst in public.
This was probably why she was able to pick out the pickpocket quickly in the crowd, simply because no one in their right mind would have tried to steal from her. Not only would it be an unwise endeavor, but likely fruitless, as the woman clearly did not have anything of much value.
She watched from where she stood as the pickpocket's little escapade turned to chaos, as they were sent reeling into the man who there were trying to liberate of his valuables, and their current possessions spilled to the floor for all to see.
A potentially angry crowd was forming, and being a Priest, and a harbinger of peace and order, Gouvx felt she had a duty to try and dissolve the situation before they had a good old fashioned lynch mobbing on their hands. She moved forward towards the scene, her movements light and airily as if she weighed almost nothing at all, though she was a fairly tall and curvacious woman.
She took her spot as last in line, coming to stand beside the the man who was being robbed, and the smaller figure who had been liberating many of their belongings and riches. As greeting, if anyone at all happened to be paying attention, she would offer a serene smile. "It must be quite a weight on your soul young one, to need to tarnish it so for financial necessity. I feel certain you would sleep more soundly tonight, if you were to return the wares you have taken now, before any true harm has been done. Your karma will provide for you this day, for no good deed goes unnoticed." Maybe her words fell of deaf ears, maybe they didn't either way she'd taken her place in line right there, and didn't seem likely to wander off anytime soon.

From Hunter's elevated pearch above the crowds, hanging from one of the surprisingly sturdy lamposts, he could see just about everything in the station of the Home Base. As always, he had none of this region's currency, so he made like a stowaway, as usual. He had his normal garb on: A thick and unbuttoned leather jacket, goggles propped on his forehead, on top of his hair, cargo pants, and the shirt that he had proudly displayed the symbol of where he heralded from. Of those who knew what it meant knew who he was. Of course, that was nigh upon nobody. He also, as always, had his tech-gauntlets. Man, he loved those things. He made them, of course. Equipped with all sorts of gadgets, they helped him out of just about any situation.
He had climbed up on the lamppost earlier because of his heightened sense, making him uncomforable in crowded conditions. As he glanced around the station area, gathering a number of odd looks from various species, his ears pricked as he heard the clinking of coins on the ground. Of the rich folk that were here, none of them were too dumb or too careless as to simply drop coins on the ground by mistake. From th sound of them, they were too heavy for some careless nobody to drop. As he surveyed the area, he saw a small crowd forming around a few... Wolves? He thinks so. One of them has a hood on, so it's hard to tell, but the other figure is deninately a wolf. A bi-pedal one.
Curious, Hunter starts to jump from lamppost to lamppost over towards the two, gathering a few odd looks himself. He landed on the lamppost and dropped down to the floor. He could see several coins and a golden pocket watch on the floor next to the hooded figure. A theif, no doubt. Their clothes were too plain to be of wealth. Hunter decided to make sure nobody else grabbed the coins by shooing some other people away. As he was doing that, he heard somebody else, not the bipedal wolf, start to talk to the theif. Something about karma. He looked at the bipedal wolf and said, "Do you know this person?"

The wolf sighted softly and began to daydream on what he would find in this place. AAvos; A land of immeasurable wealth, Leinad knew this was bound to be a good place to make a name for himself, and get over with the puny little contracts that has had him travelling from system to system. Leinad move in the line, ears flopped back to avoid hearing any unnecessary blabber, wanting to get into the damn shuttle already. The wolf then found himself being pushed forth, gently, by something that did not felt like a hand or paw at all.
--"Hey!" The wolf exclaimed as his head began to tuned to look at the little person, hidden in a vast amount of robes. The wolf's ears perked as he noticed her hand inside his pocket. That only spelt trouble. Leinad quickly reach to grab for her hand, but he did not tugged it away. In fact, the wolf seemed to be holding her hand gently, knowing that everybody's gaze were soon turning to fixate on the thieve. Leinad knew that this stations -- these people -- were fond of local justice. They would not hesitate to put two rounds in the head of this individual for stealing. The wolf's eyes quickly began to move around as the crowd began to agitate. Some would try to recover their belongings, while others would try to take advantage of the situation. Leinad's eyes then focused on two blue gems that approached form the distance, along with her body, it seemed to clearly stand out from the rest of the crowd. Leinad did not spoke a word while she did. He just...stared, all while keeping the little figure close by. That was until someone had the 'decency' to silence the situation by shooting a few warning shots close them, creating a deafening silence.
By that moment, the wolf would have crouched and hugged the little figure close by, tugging onto her. He then looked up to the other two. His eyes moved from one to the other and ultimately landed on the Man with adventuring gear. "I-I thought you did. Or She did." The wolf then stood up and let go of the little thieve. The peace and silent didn't last long though. A group of armed men where approaching the three individuals. They did not looked like security at all. Just your typical mercenary, with leather jackers and ragged pants.
"What's going on here?" One of the armed people asked.
"H-he stole from us!" Spoke a 'noble' woman.
"Cut 'er hand!" Spoke a large fellow
"Yeah. Throw him into the pit!"
Then the noise overwhelmed the room. Mercenaries were reaching for their guns while the nobles were reaching for their pockets -- making their bids on who would be the first one to shoot the thief's head off.
Leinad watched in awe as the whole situation took place and quickly reached for his gun, shooting up to the air -- but having less effect than last time. He did not seemed to have scared anyone, but rather gotten their attention. The wolf took a deep breath, and spoke loudly
"Wait up! Nobody smart enough would dare to steal from our...respectable investors. Let alone in a pick-pocket fashion." The wolf reached to grab the thief once again "This person here... is clearly a novice. An inexperienced criminal that can be saved from his ways. Plus, his skills could be put to better use, don't you think?" The wolf seemed to be gaining the crows approval, but just barely. The mercenaries were putting their guns away and the nobles keeping their mouth shuts. The wolf then proceeded to remove whatever garments covered the individual's face, just to prove his point-- to let everybody know who he was. . . . shooting a person while looking at them in the eyes is though~

She kept her eyes closed and stiffened, trying to hide the fact that her fur was on end. She began thinking. Thinking of a way to escape. Thinking of a way to escape with the stolen goods. She wanted to just run, but the wolf had her by the wrist. Even though it wasn't that tight of a grip, she couldn't afford to stumble after pulling away. She could always reach for her knife and jab it into his knee before running off. She wouldn't be opposed to the idea whatsoever, but what's a knife to a crowd? Too late for that.
The sound of the gunshot forced her to lower her now ringing ears and whimper. She hated loud noises. Nor was she accustomed to them. That seemed to break her out of her trance. The girl looked up only enough to see their legs, hiding her eyes from sight even still. Among the crowd there was what seemed like a tall, blue alien of some sort. Probably the one who was hopelessly trying to make her return the goods. The group of mercenaries approaching them, as well as the man she tried to steal from who was... Hugging her?
The moment he let go of her wrist, she was already pulling it back, resisting the urge to let out a hostile growl. The last thing she needed right now was more enemies. She lifted her face a little, just to get a better look at the crowd from underneath her hood, and waited. Waited for an opening where she knew she could escape. Outrunning all of them would be a challenge, but not if she got a head start. To her misfortune, the second she found a group of small children form enough that she could run and push them out of the way, a second gun went off, making her freeze yet again. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't so close to her ears...
With her ears still ringing, she couldn't manage to fight back as he grabbed her wrist once more. Not like she wanted to anyways. It'd probably only cause more of an uproar. The wolf's words, as frustrated as they made her, were favorable for her situation. Expectantly, the raccoon lowered her head, trying to give him a hard time with her hood in false hope that it'd make him leave it. But before she knew it, the bright lighting of the station hit her in the eyes. The girl's face seemed small, and her eyes big. Too big. She looked... Young. Too young to be allowed near the train to Aavos. But not enough that it was obvious. Maybe she just looked youthful? It was truly hard to tell. She slowly opened up and went straight to looking around at the crowd. She had what could best be described as a dead, emotionless look in her emerald eyes. Sort of rebellious in a way. At first glance, you'd think she was glaring in anger. But really, she was just planning. Planning on a way to escape. Waiting for an opportunity.

It would seem things were quickly spinning out of control. No one's motive or intention was lost on her, as she felt what they felt as real as if she were feeling it herself. Gouvx took a deep breath and closed her eyes for just a short moment, as the overwhelming negative energy of the crowd swam tenfold inside her own head.If they'd been open one might have seen her irises swimming in colour from light blue to a more purpleish colour, and red bled into the mix.
She reached a calm within herself just as the gun shots rang out. Gouvx flinched, but she did not crouch or hide herself, in fact she moved closer to the girl who'd put a target on her back, in hopes that some of the richer, more traveled folk in the crowd, would know better then to shoot a Priest, and a vessel of peace.
She looked down at the now unmasked girl, who looked too young to have such a dead look in her eye.It was heart breaking to see someone so young with such a hard soul, she would dwell on it more when she had time, at the moment the angry crowd still had most of her attention, though it was beginning to dissipate with the unmasking of her face. No one wanted to shoot someone they had to look in the eye.
Gouvx broadcasted peace, those that could let go of their anger would be effected, allowing their anger to slip out of them, other still might be too upset for her influence to their emotional state to mean anything. She looked out on those who remained with guarded compassion. "I appeal to your forgiving natures. No man is truly innocent of wrong doing, but more often then not, second chances are provided."
Of course, she knew well enough that the girl had likely had several chances. The deadness in her eyes suggested a long life of sin and hardship, and certainly nothing she could say here would change that. She figured though, that if it even gave her pause the next time she though to steal, it would be enough to prove to Gouvx that she'd been right in appealing for the young woman's life.

As Hunter began to look around and survey the scene, he heard a loud, unmuffled gunshot ring out, nearly deafening him. He silently cursed his enhanced senses, looking around for the shooter. Besides some general commotion, there was no screaming, so nobody had been shot. Many people were looking in the direction of a well-built and scraggly man, and was holding a gun above his head. The wolf tried to reason with the angry mob, unveiling the theif. The girl looked raccoon-like, and had cold and empty eyes. Those eyes reminded him of someone else he knew.
He continued to be perplexed by the current situation when he began to feel a warm and calming sensation over him. He quickly looked around and saw that the priest talking of karma earlier was doing something. It was messing with his mind, causing him to think abstractly. He made his way over to the priest and politely said, "Would you mind stopping? It's... Making my head hurt." He sat down and rubbed his head for a second, and got up again. He was kind of invested in this merry little band and was actually quite curious about them.

The wolf stared at the mob as they mumbled. If there is something the wolf had learn was that stupidity could only grow with bigger numbers, so he glanced over at the little girl. He did not knew whether to feel compassionate about her or not. She was a thief, yes. A very dishonourable profession, but one has to do what they have to in order to survive, right?
Leinad then focused his attention at the blue female, she spoke tenderly and soothing. Something to look up to, but given the situation, the wolf knew they weren't going to get too far with just words. They whether surrendered the little, or fought for her safety. But was putting their life at risk worth it? Leinad struggled to come up with a decision himself, so he turned to the others -- eyes heavily focused on the other mercenary. "What is he talkin' about?" The wolf looked over to the blue female once again. "I-it really doesn't matter now. Listen, I'm not about to let these people take this little girl. Chances are they are going to either execute her... or well.." The wolf assumed there were worst things that could happen to her than death. "And I'm not about to let that happen to her. So what do you say? The transport is ready to go, maybe we could make a run for it, or fight them off?" By the time the wolf spoke, he had completely forgotten about the little girl. If she had already come up with a plan, this was a good time as any to do so.

While the group standing next to the little girl debated their next move, the mob began to disperse. Somebody making their way through them. The mercenaries move too -- whoever this person was, sure looked important. Or big. Each step that this creature took made the ground tremble. The enormous creature was known to be one of the most expensive and dangerous security-guards ever created. "Oh, crap." Leinad spoke in a worried tone "That's one of those-- things. I've read about them. They're not living creatures at all. They don't feel, they don't think..." the wolf clutched the pistole on his hand and clutched it tightly "Someone wants this girl, badly--"
Leinad will opt to make a run for the transport

Leinad then focused his attention at the blue female, she spoke tenderly and soothing. If the wolf knew how close he was to having the insides spilling out of his stomach for the crowd to see in shock, he wouldn't have been this close to her. Her hand was secretly readying to her knife. This was being taken too far. Rather than planning, she was clearly glaring now. For once she gave up on trying to find a way out, and turned hostile. No. She wouldn't win. But she could at least cause as much hell as possible before being taken down. Maybe even get lucky if she did it so unexpectedly
But there were two things holding her back. The first, having a priest this close to her. Could she really attempt to kill someone in front of such a holy figure? She'd never been one of religion, but she was probably the fact that there wasn't a bullet in her head right now... It just didn't feel right. The other was her target. He was intent on helping her, regardless if his pain might be the ticket to her escape. As open as she was to the idea of inflicting that much physical pain on a stranger, she just wasn't strong enough to do it to someone who had sympathy for her... But was it really strength she was lacking?
Her last resort was to give up and plead for forgiveness, offering the stolen goods back. Even though it wasn't really of her nature, it was a plan nonetheless. But even that shattered when metal monster appeared. It seemed like her streak of petty crimes finally caught up to her... Her eyes widened and body tensed. As hard as she tried to hide it, a look of fear replaced her irritated and cold expression. There was no fighting that thing. No winning against it. No convincing it. The sight of it alone simply set in the fact that she lost...
"O-oh god..." The girl spoke quietly, still froze up and terrified. "L-let go...!" She pulled, trying to free her wrist of the wolf's grip. But they both knew there was no outrunning that thing. Not when a crowd blocked her off from every direction like this. She didn't have a way of escaping, but she wasn't going to just give up and let that thing get her. "Let go of me!" She nearly screamed at the wolf, looking him in the eyes. She didn't ask that time. That time, she was threatening... At the same time she reached inside her cloak, confirming the fact that she had a weapon, and was seconds away from using it on him. A serious, terror filled stare met his eyes. Either he found a way for them to escape right now, or he was losing his right hand... She was a fight or flight mode...

It was an extremely precarious position Gouvx was in, in situations like these. She had a duty to uphold peace and compassion, and yet, every negative emotion in the room swirled in her head, temping her towards darkness and insanity. Her broadcast of peace to the room was as much for her own as it was to calm down the people crowded around them.
She looked dreamily over at Hunter as he asked her to stop, she gave him a sorry look, wondering why he was so susceptible to her influence, certainly it should not have hurt, nor should it have been particularly noticeable to someone who wasn't terribly upset. Regardless of his susceptibility though, it was mostly involuntary, and Gouvx not only did not the sort of control required to simply stop, but it was also inadvisable even if she had been able to, for it would have meant certain decent into madness.
"I'm afraid I cannot do that child, I am happy to take your pain as my own though, if it troubles you so." And she would too, she didn't want to be responsible for the harm of another being.
She was distracted right then, as the wolf addressed her, suggesting they might steal aboard the transport, making a break for it rather then trying to placate the crowd. Gouvx would never have agreed to something so deceitful normally, but as the giant, souless creature approached, her morals seemed to waver some.
The creature was lie a void for an empath, and it set her on edge, and filled her stomach with dread, a sick cold feeling creeping over her, before she managed to squash it down, before that leeched as well to the people around her. "I.. I think perhaps that fleeing might be our most beneficial option now.
Her eyes cut to the panicked young girl, who felt ready to do something drastic, and potentially stupid. If the guards did not like stealing, she was sure they would react tenfold to murder, or maiming. "It would be unwise to turn away the only helping hand you have." She said softly, her eyes drifting back to the horrifying drill man. She said aside to the wolf. "I think we'd best take that option of yours now.."

Hunter stretched tiredly and replied to the plant-looking woman, "Nah, I can deal with it." He listened to the wolf talking about what might happen to the girl and he shivered. Nobody thought that nobody should deal with that.Hunter heard the booming of the empty husk before anyone else did. "That's... New..." Hunter said, looking up towards the behemoth. He looked towards the rest of the small group, taking in their terrified expression. "You guys haven't seen scary if you haven't seen Zeon angry..." Hunter then notices the girl's blade. "Don't do anything stupid, now..." Hunter quickly looks over to the suit of armor. He aims for the elbow and activates his gauntlets, blades popping out. He stabs at the elbow of it.
rolled 1d6 and got 1
1-2 is critical failure, 3-4 is failure, 5-6 is success.
As Hunter stabs at the elbow, the creature punches him in the gut, snapping several of his ribs and his gauntlet's blade. He flies across the room and into one of the brass railings beside the shuttle. He coughs up blood for a moment and manages to slowly get up. He manages to croak, "Maybe... It is a good time to run."
Hunter is now temporarily handicapped, and now opts to flee.
Hunter is now temporarily handicapped, and now opts to flee.
(Wow, Hunter. You really stacked the odds against yourself with that dice roll. Only a 33% chance of success.)
He had been minding his own business, he had just been leaning against a wall. With the brim of his hat drawn low over his eyes, and his cape covering half of his form. He had come on another of his crazy schemes, thinking that he could strike a bargain on the platform for passage to Aavros. He'd heard much of this place; felt that, with his current standing on his world, that he couldn't do much worse trying to make a deal to get him to a land of more prosperity as a immigrant.
And then, a thief got caught, and all mediocrity of order dissolved. And with it, his chances of panhandling or scalping passage. But as he watched the events unfold, he felt a cold seep into him. Beneath the warmth of terror that flushed him at the sight of the armored figure, he felt the pin-prickles of a soft cold blossoming in him. He knew that he needed to do something, and that something might be the last thing he did.
He drew his goggles down over his eyes, adjusting the lenses to the light. And then he pulled up the hem of his cloak to cowl his lower face. He pushed off from the wall, moving forward with a jaunty jog as he let the cloak conceal all of his body. Under the folds of the cloak, he slipped his diver's dagger from it's holster in his wrist sheath.
In the confusion, a tall lanky figure moved among the crowd, guiding people away from his with small prods in the lower back and sides with the hilt of his diver's knife. What compelled him to do what he had decided to, he had no idea. It seemed absolutely foolhardy to even assume such things. But he was probably the only being he knew that could do this. The armored figure was looking to don a modified dive helmet, similar to the ones one of his shipmates wore when they dove for pearls. It reminded him of a prank one of the old salts had pulled using just such a helmet.
He was going to die. he just knew it. But he was needed to excite some more confusion. More panic to conceal an attempt to sneak upon the transport in the chaos. This was his only chance, the only way to tip this gamble in his favor. It was a gambit of the highest order, but he had to make the risk.
He watched as Hunter got punched, and it just reminded him that he was being an idiot. More of that cold from his oncoming pre-meditated attack seeped into his bones. He approached the armored figure from the side, light jabs of the hilt cowing away the people in his way. And then he got close enough, and broke into a run at the armored figure. He reached up with his free hand and snatched off his hat.
And then he leapt at the Armored Figure's shoulder, seeking to hook onto it with his curved dagger's back edge and climb to the face mask. He knew the next steps of the dance he was about to play out, he thanked his stars from being trained up from the bleak ends of town and his species natural inclinations, so that he could feel he could manage this.

1, failure. 2&3 neutral result, 4&5 success, 6 critical success. Plus one for surprise attack
Dubrock swung his body towards the chest of the Armored Figure from his shoulder. He kicked out with his feet, looking to brace against the unarmed arm to keep it from swinging back on him and catching him. Dubrock knew the drill couldn't reach him at such close range, it's point too long. He flipped his hat by it's brim, and smashed it into the Armored figure's glass face plate. The top hat crumpled to it's brim, before Dubrock switched hands. He thrust the folded knife between the bars in the faceplate, holding it sideways, and then triggering the button to unfold the blade from the handle. The blade and handle wedged the hat in place, between the two bars on the glass face plate, just as it had in the prank aboard the vessel.
He released his grip, and dropped to his feet, grabbing at the figures waist to give him a leverage point to swing himself under the massive figures legs, so he could run for the transport. It was a shame to lose his hat and one of his precious diver's daggers. But he had two more knives, he could made due till he could replace the third.
He had to get away, and get free, to reap the chaos he was trying to sow. It was up to these people to create more, which he expected they would. Use that legendary otterkind acrobatic Athletism, Dubrock, swing yourself home. And he tried, with his most desperate effort, he tried.

Same as before.
Leinad looked down at the child as the terror took the best of her "Woah, Hey-! Calm down!" Leinad lets go of her as he stares for a second, snaring. That little cheeky ungrateful little... But then the wolf heard the giant metallic creature approached still. Perhaps he was bit harsh, the girl might have thought that they were going to give her up at the sight of this thing? Maybe she has been betrayed before? Either way, the wolf knew it was time to take an option, and fast.
The wolf growled softly at the drill-handed creature until the blue lady spoke to him. Leinad nodded "Damn right let's get go--" The wolf turned his head towards the other mercenary as he bluffed about being able to take one of these creatures on his own. Leinad shake his head softly, thinking of a nice set of words, like the blue lady, to tell him how of an stupid endeavour that would be. However, the would just manage to come up with a single word: "Hey!" Leinad extended his arm, trying to get a grab of him as he rushed towards the drilled man. It awaited for the mercenary to get close enough so it's timed strike would be fatal for him. And it pretty much was.
"Dammit!" The wolf grunted as he covered his eyes from a few drops of blood that flew towards the group. Leinad turned to look at the blue woman "Take the kid -- make a run for the shuttle. I hope you know your way around one of these?" Leinad pointed at the shuttle (similar to the one at the first post) "I will meet you there once I pick up what's left of our 'hero'" Leinad then rushed towards where the mercenary was. "Come on, you're going to be o-- that's bad. That's really really bad!" Leinad looked over his shoulder at the creature which did not seemed to have any intentions to stop chasing the other two, despite of their gender of intentions. The creature's drill would be swinging at both Jess and Gouvx as they fled, luckily they would be able to outrun the creature . . .
"They are both female and one's a little girl, you tin-can!" Leinad pointed his pistole at the creature and carefully aimed to shoot at it, but there was something else in the way -- a kind-hearted individual that has bought the two mercenaries some time to make it to the shuttle "Come on, buddy. Get up!" The wolf picked his arm and pulled it over the wolf's neck. He made sure he grabbed his good arm, the one which his ribs were not exposed. Leinad hurried towards the shuttle and placed Hunter on the ground, ready to close the door shut behind him and holding at it. "Are we ready to go!?" The wolf shouted. . .
However, Leinad kept the door of the shuttle open, waiting for the otterkind creature to make it to the shuttle, specially due to the fact that the harmed creature was rushing towards him now, probably seeing him as a hostile now, ready to put him down. "Hurry up--" The wolf spoke in a worried tone, holding the door tightly, ready to shut it up once the creature was too close... whether the otter was inside or not... They couldn't risk it. It was either the otter, or the rest of group. And the wolf really wished it would be the latest mentioned.

She fell back as he let go of her wrist, conveniently landing next to the pile of stolen goods. She watched pretty much in awe as the others approached the machine, risking their lives to stop it. That didn't stop her from taking the extra few seconds to scoop up the handful of coins as well as reaching over for the pocket watch, stuffing it all into her pocket before turning the priest and proceeding onward to the shuttle with her.
"You know how to work these... Right?" She asked the blue woman. If only she stole and read a handbook for the shuttles in her time of living near the station...

Gouvx said a prayer inwardly, as the young man who'd been in their company, rushed forward with such typical youthful foolhardiness. Though she though it a foolish endeavor she certainly commended his bravery and blind kindness. She felt certain the world would be a better place, if more people strove to be as helpful as the gentlemen here today.
The girl's action of stooping to steal back what she could from the ground, was not lost on Gouvx, but there wasnt an appropriate time to discuss it. Gouvx felt sure that if this situation hadn't been lesson enough against her behaviour, surely karma would catch up with her, and in Gouvx's experience, Karma was not always kind. Rather then say anything, she would rush the girl forward towards the shuttle.
It was a thankful thing that she'd sent a few hours people watching when she'd arrived, because she would not have known how to work the shuttle had she not seen several people do so over the time she'd been waiting. She praised her gods for allowing her the foresight to have paid attention.
"With any luck, I'll be able to pretend I do anyway." She answered gleefully, as she enjoyed learning how to do new things even in the face of danger.
It took two tries, but she was able to get the engine ignited, she could only hope that someone else would know how to fly it, because that she certainly didn't know how to operate. She waited for the others nervously, pleased as they one by one made it to the shuttle. As they waited for the helpful Otterkind to board, Gouvx would turn her attention to the wounded boy.
"Are you in pain child? I could ease it for you until we are able to properly set your bones."

((Dubrock: Well, yeah, it's a killing machine that can't feel pain. I wouldn't think success would be that easy.))
Hunter felt a little woozy. Maybe it was the blood loss. It was had to tell if he was hallucinating or not. He thought he could make out the wolf helping him up, and some sort of... Otter? He thinks so, it was helping them escape. He would nod in appreciation if he wasn't in a great deal of pain. As the wolf helped him get onto the shuttle platform, he heard the priest say something. He could tell what, some blood had probably gotten in his ears. Something about a spit? Maybe naming somebody named Clint? He saw the woman turn on the engines, but her puzzled expression told the story. She didn't know how to fly the thing. With his other gauntlet, the one not broken, he extended the blade and used it as a walking stick and made his way to the controls. He flocked a few switches and pressed a button, then pushed forward one of the levers.
The engine slowly roared louder as the ship started to hover into the air. Hunter fell backwards and a golden locket spilled out from his pocket, and a rather royal-looking seal, looking like a gear and a magic rune. Hunter clutched at his side and said, "Augh... Now my coat's all bloody..."

(I always try to include a neutral result in my rolls when freeforming, because in e-fed to stalemate is always an option. Also, plwease, OOC, I'm just Cactus. We seem to be moving in similar RPs as of late, Hunter, between this and the other sci-fi RP.)
As the others moved to the transport, Dubrock was attempting to extract himself from his melee with the Armored Figure. He successfully swung himself along the ground, lancing through the gap in the security monster's legs. He slid along the ground, his sail cloth slacks grinding against the platform. As his momentum faltered, he used one last little boost of acrobatics to flip himself into a somersault and to his feet. Behind him, the blinded figure swung his drill at his assailant...And the spinning tip ripped through the back of his cloak, warm blood spilling over his clothes as he staggered.
But Dubrock kept his sprint, he had no other choice. If he stopped, the security monster would probably remove the hat and knife that blinded him. And Dubrock would be left very dead, obviously. He charged towards the open door, and took a leap into the open cab...the uncontrolled leap left the Otterkind to face plant spectacularly into the deck of the transport, sliding along his chin to the far wall.
