On the monster community:

Admittedly some of the confusion here rests in the fact that we use the term "community" in the first place. The idea that there is any sort of organized group or that Bridgeport is out and open about it's unusual concentration of freaks and geeks is a huge misunderstanding- The idea is that on a day to day basis the regular non-monster population of Bridgeport have no idea that there is any sort of freaky monster-related goings-on in their town. There is a loose organization of monster-folk who live in the town and are aware of one another, but there is no solid communal body who live and operate daily with their monster nature out in the open. Secrecy is key!
Did You Know?

The first local coffee shop was Teal Deer Coffee. There was a small petition going round claiming that the bright, vibrant establishment "spoiled the tone of our Shopping District," but it wasn't well supported.
