Tonight live on the scene, what officials are already calling "The Great Bridgeport Fire." One of the worst disasters in Bridgeport history.

Late last night an explosion rocked the wharf district, decimating an entire city block and causing millions in damage. As of yet it remains unclear how many there are missing, there are no confirmed deaths reported yet but at least two people have been airlifted for emergency medical treatment. Officials are investigating the cause but there have been rumors of a "giant explosion" coming from the Hinkley Automotive factory. Preliminary reports are blaming the blast on improperly stored chemicals.

Fire Chief Allen Matthews reports that it's "the worst he's seen" in over twenty years of service.
