Autumn? She's great, though I will say I like Autumn Rain.

"What's your opinion on surfing?"

"Tried it once and busted my behind doing it too. I got to say, the passion of surfers is something to admire."

"What's your opinion on weekends?"

“Part of the arbitrary time-concept created by man.They were what was lived for when I was in school. They don’t exist for me anymore since I got off the corporate merry-go-round. One day is like the rest, and they are beautiful man.”

A car approaches and the. hitchhiker puts his thumb out. It passes by without slowing.

“What’s your opinion on freedom?”

"Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose," Trevor said. "That's according to Janis Joplin. What do you think about about all this synth pop coming out? Is that the future of music? Is the electric guitar doomed?"

Asio fidgeted with her fingers from her seated position, looking around warily as though someone could be listening.

"Well, I suppose synth pop is nice," she said, seemingly honest. "I'd listen to it more if I could. However, I doubt it'd be the 'future of music' in this scenario. That goes for rock as well. They're genres banned by the state for being 'too Imperial-sounding.' Possession of cassettes of it could get you in trouble."

A regretful frown followed before she continued.

"That's partly why care packages from other planets and those crossing checkpoints are carefully inspected. Usually, cassettes end up confiscated due to their rarity in the first place. They're used by the Protektors and military to record messages instead. I don't know what else they use them for, but it's easy to imagine. . ."

A bit forcefully, she cleared her throat before turning to the next person.

"Actually, I wonder. . . what is your opinion of needles? Are you scared of them? I usually treat soldiers, so they have worse things to be scared of. . . but I try to be gentle with those with anxiety."

"Needles? It depends on the needle. I like sewing needles as I like making clothes and things. My latest fad is making 1970s style patched jeans!"

Sophia thought a little before adding. "If you are talking needles like for vaccines, I tolerate them. I just have to look the other way. I am however terrified of the needle coming at m to numb my face when I'm in a dentist chair."

Sophia shivered at the thought and visual from her last dentist appointment.

"Anyway, yeah. What is your opinion on smoking Marihuana?"

Sudalorm adjusted his wrists watches parameters, trying to tune the frequency to match human language.
Sudalorm begins to make clicking noises, which his watch translates.
"I have not tried the human consumable called Marihuana."
He crosses his arms. "I do not think it would be good for me to try such things.
I've heard many stories, from good to bad.
I'd like to refrain from it honestly, but I hold no judgement to any that consume it."

Sudalorm thinks, "What are you're opinions on Marriage?"

"My opinion on Marriage? Um... well... my parents have strong opinions on it, so my opinion is pretty open.
It is a decision left to the individual couples. My opinion is don't do it because my parents tried to arrange one for me."

What is your opinion on walking in the rain?

“I welcome a long walk in a warm rain," she said as she closed her eyes and tilted her head so her face would be angled upward. Then her expression changed, and the fantasy ended. “But, somehow, you always end up in a cold rain and running for shelter."

What is your opinion on bigfoot? Wishful thinking or could a massive bipedal creature really be lurking just out of sight?

Oronelar took out Argonsakalar, his silvered harp, from behind him and displayed it, holding it in both hands. He began strumming slowly, getting some tunes out into the world. He was finding the right pitch and tone to set up his words. He then began speaking, his melodic voice of gold saying,

"Bigfoot? Lurking out of sight?

Bigfoot lives in light.

Base mortals lack the foresight.

Blocked right, to belight,

Hidden splendours of the mind.

Hah! Thou art of kind,

Hailing from divine bird-kind,

Holyness enshrined."

Oronelar bowed to her lowly, recognizing her majestic form beyond her normal form. He began strumming with Argonsakalar a new tune once more, but this time he had a question to ask, to a different person or to the same person. He said, somewhat normally, but still making short rhymes,

"I am in need of thine opinion.

What do you think of pinions?"

"Pinions? Why I think they are very important! At least to us bird folk." answered the little harpy woman as she sat upon the end of a table, kicking her legs idly.

"Speaking of important things. What is your opinion on revenge?"

"I don't think revenge is at all constructive. I wish I could get revenge on those who have enslaved my race in the past, but I do not have the capability to do so and if I did...well what would I do? Enslave them? Well wouldn't that beat the entire point of trying to prove that slavery is wrong? I don't think it is right to exact revenge as it stoops us to their level. But that being said, I think it's important to never forget what others have done, never trusting them again. Forgive but do not forget."

What is your opinion on beauty?

It is the parable we live by, however, we, the Aesar hold our divine thought of beauty in part difference to the eye-appeal which humans should hold in some regard, to us it is something to be cultured, revered and upheld and principally the result of pure action and thought for through our collective we come to make all such things beautiful, indeed, the elves strive to find and realize beauty in all paths we walk, as the chosen host we uphold this sacred duty to protect all that is and make all that is not beautiful. Not just the beauty of forms, but the beauty of quietudes, of hearth, of balance and order for these things embody the true sanctimony.

What is your opinion of elves ?

"A most amusing race. They pride themselves on their lineage, power, culture and dominance but yet surrender so easily to me and my forces. Their woman certainly are beautiful. Pretty faces and voluptuous bodies. They make for great concubines and wives but not much else. They are docile and submissive.

Their men on the other hand are a disgrace to their own race. Not strong enough to protect their own. They are feeble and even the greatest elven warrior would be nothing but dust underneath the feet of even the lowliest foot soldier of my army. I wish to improve their culture and perhaps under my rule they may be able to do so."


"What is your opinion on fate and destiny?"

"I feel like they are complicated, I'd say if fate and destiny were ruled by a being, they might be cruel.
But, that's if they have any control over any of it, maybe they are just an overseer in all the things.
Just assigned to make sure it's documented down.

But .... if fate and destiny are just a fundamental mathematic part of life by simple reaction.
Like how fire will always burn wood, but sometimes it burns different kinds of wood at different rates.
Then fate and destiny are simply reactions to all the fundamental's at play.

I wouldn't know if that makes any of it less special, maybe it makes it more special.
I think ... we should just enjoy the good things and try not to go mad in controlling our fate."

He pauses, "On a lighter note, what is you're opinion on sweets like cakes and cookies?"

"Well, I love baking cookies, and I do bake the occasional cake, so I very much approve of them!"

What is your opinion on cooking dinners at home?
